Through WUE, students in western states can attend participating institutions in other states for reduced tuition. Instead of paying full out of state tuition, a WUE participant pays the regular in state tuition plus 50 percent of that amount. FRA's Americanism Essay Contest is open to all students, grades 7 through 12, including those who are home schooled. Students are invited to submit a 350 word essay through an FRA member or local FRA branch before the December 1st deadline. They have decided to offer this $500 scholarship to high school senior and college enrolled young women for both personal and professional reasons. Fortiphi Co founder Jay Ebert lost his daughter, Chelsey Rae Ebert, to cancer while she was still in high school. Chelsey was much beloved by her family and friends, who have already founded the Chelsey Rae Ebert Trust, which raises money for scholarships and charities.
