, Apr. 23. 2015 5:37P No 5225 P. 5 Ocean County SWAT Team Activity Report Operation Number: OP 03-02-13 Agency Case Number: 2013-3979 Requesting Agency: Stafford Township Police Department Incident Location: 36 Ross Court Manahawkin NJ 08050 Date: 3-243 Callout Time: 1822 Incident Completed: 2003 Report Completed By: Sgt. Herman Pharo STPD At approximately 01822 hours, I was contacted by Stafford Township Police Dispatch and informed that an armed robbery had occurred in Waretown. The suspects, one male and one female, fled the area in a black sedan NJ reg, D98CBG. Stafford patrol units located the vehicle unoccupied on Kristine Court. Their subsequent investigation led them to 36 Ross Court, which is also where the vehicle's registration returns to. Believing that the two robbery suspects were inside the residence Stafford patrol units established a secure perimeter and requested the assistance of the Ocean County SWAT Team. Upon my arrival, I met Patrolman James Sutter and Patrolman Robert Conforti who related the latest intelligence and provided two possible contact numbers for 36 Ross Court. I immediately added two SWAT Officers to the already established perimeter (Schiattarella and Kunder). Once in place, I attempted to contact any occupant of the residence using the available phone numbers. My call was answered by a male, identifying himself as Frank. He advised that he was the homeowner but was currently in Florida. He informed me that his son and one of his daughters had permission to be at the residence. Frank supplied me with a telephone number for his daughter. Frank also provided permission for us to enter his residence. Several attempts to contact her via the telephone yielded negative results. As I was attempting to determine if anyone was currently occupying the residence, I was notified by perimeter units that the overhead garage door was opening. As units approached the garage door it began to close. Prior to it closing completely, the security sensor was activated causing the door to completely open. Units observed a male subject entering the living portion of the house. The male subject was taken into custody without incident. An announcement was made, directing anyone remaining in the residence to exit with their hands visible. Several seconds later a female exited the basement of the house and was subsequently taken into custody. SWAT members cleared and secured the thetesidence No-attier occupants-werelotatedlutitigitinfait-r------
