ABOUT THE TRAININGS AND INFORMATION SESSION Welcome to Community Care! On July 1, 2011, Community Care will begin to manage behavioral health services for individuals who reside in Erie County and receive Medical Assistance benefits through the Pennsylvania HealthChoices program. Community Care is holding an Information Session for senior leaders of network providers on May 5, 2011, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel at 55 West Bay Drive in Erie, PA. This session is offered at no cost; lunch will be provided. Please register for the Information Session using the form on page 7. Community Care is also holding training sessions on May 17, 18, and 19, 2011, and June 7, 8, and 9, 2011, for the Erie County behavioral health services providers who serve HealthChoices members. All of the trainings include an overview of Community Care and a choice between Administrative and Clinical sessions. Administrative sessions will cover network credentialing and contracting, and provider reimbursement. Clinical sessions, which will include an overview of Quality Management activities and the role of providers, will focus on Adult Mental Health Services, Children s Services, and Drug and Alcohol Services. Providers attending the Children s Services clinical session can choose from three workshops: 1). BHRS and BHRS Exceptions, FFT, MST, and SMART; 2). RTF and IRT/MTFC; and 3). FBMH and Psych/Neuropsych Testing. Duplicate sessions are offered in morning and afternoon sessions as well as on different days to accommodate providers schedules. All of the provider trainings, offered at no cost to the provider, are being held at The Ambassador Center at 7794 Peach Street in Erie, PA. Because space is limited, registration is required. Providers may register for one or more sessions using the registration form included on page 7. SAVE THE DATE! After the July 1 implementation, follow-up question and answer sessions for providers will be held on July 19, 20, and 21, 2011. Watch for more details! - 2 -
