Association for the of Pakistan January Fundraising Initiatives Description Volunteers Comments Timeline Stanford GSB charity auction Uth Oye helping provide more media exposure ADP was selected as one of three charities to receive funds from the proceeds of the Stanford GSB charity auction. Our partner Uth Oye is planning to bring ADP into opportunities for media exposure in Pakistan. They have done this with other partners and are looking to provide more visibility to ADP. Mubarik Imam, Saad Hasan, Talha Sattar Usman in contact with Babar Khan Expected amount of proceeds to ADP are at least $20k. They are also interested in contributing towards one of our current projects HEED and MGPO are both of interest to them. Funding commitment will be finalized soon. Partnership with Pakistan fund This is a student group started at University of Toronto and expanding to other colleges. They have raised funds around flood related projects but their intent is to be broader than that. They are looking at ADP as a potential partner to direct these funds to initiatives in Pakistan. Usman in contact with Arsalan Samdani of PDF PDF in agreement to direct some of the funds they raise in their next fundraiser towards an ADP project. They are planning the timing of this fundraiser. ~ 2 months before they organize a fundraiser HEED phase II fundraising ADP talk at Fletcher School at Tufts on Feb 22 With updates from the NGO a fundraising campaign will be launched for this project today to raise project specific funds. Working with some Pakistanis at Fletcher to organize this presentation and talk on ADP. Imad Ahmad, Usman Hassan, Shahan Zafar Primarily to bring more awareness and tap into high-skilled and relevant volunteers. With more awareness also come further opportunities for fundraising. This will smoothen the fundraising process as well as open up other opportunities in Pakistan. Mubarik Imam Moved to a new lawyer. Will try to register as "Associtiation for " or "ADP". Should have an update soon. NA Flood Redevelopment projects Media Team Team to contact NGOs and get proposals for flood redevelopment projects. The media team has overall responsibility for dissemination and promotion of activities and information.
