Ourso College of Business Tour and Meet & Greet 1:45 2:45 pm Business Education Complex (BEC) Rotunda Enjoy a tour of the BEC from 1:45 to 2:00 pm, followed by a visit to the Securities Markets Analysis Research and Trading (SMART) Lab from 2:00 to 2:15 pm. After your tour, join us for a meet and greet from 2:15 to 2:45 pm with our faculty and staff in the BEC Rotunda Dining Room. Ice Cream with the College of Engineering Deans 2:30 4:00 pm Patrick F. Taylor Hall Commons The College of Engineering invites parents and families of engineering students to an ice cream social with Dean Wornat and Engineering staff and a tour of the newly- renovated Patrick F. Taylor Hall. Campus Walking Tour Gold 2:30-3:30 pm Departs from the LSU Geaux Center (Student Union, First Floor) Take a walking tour of campus for 1 hour to see the Quad, the Memorial Tower, a classroom or two, and Mike VII s habitat. Campus Walking Tour Purple 2:30-3:00 pm 3:15-3:45 pm Departs from the LSU Geaux Center (Student Union, First Floor) Take a walking tour of campus for 30 minutes to see LSU s academic areas of campus, including the Quad and Memorial Tower. Family Weekend Welcome Buffet 5:30-8:00 pm Tiger Lair, LSU Student Union Come visit us at our opening event for LSU Family Weekend! After you have checked in, enjoy some delicious BBQ and mingle with other LSU families at the Tiger Lair. Dinner will be served continuously throughout the evening, so please arrive at your convenience. Family Weekend Dessert Social 6:30-8:30 pm Memorial Tower All registered guests for Family Weekend are invited to attend a Dessert Social at the most picturesque spot on campus, the LSU Memorial Tower. Saturday, September 30, 2017 4- H & LSU College of Agriculture Night with Tigers Tailgate 9:30 am - 3:00 pm Parker Coliseum and 4- H Mini Farm The tailgate style event will feature free food, games and giveaways for LSU students, family and friends. College of Agriculture faculty and staff will be at the event to visit with families and plenty of ag swag will be provided so guests can enjoy the game sporting their College of Agriculture purple and gold. Homecoming Parade 11:00 am 12:30 pm Parade route runs from W. Lakeshore Drive along the lakes and then travels down S. Stadium Dr., turns right onto S. Campus Dr. and Fieldhouse Dr., then turns right onto Dalrymple Dr. before head back to W. Lakeshore. Following a nearly 3- mile- long route is this year s Grand Marshall DD Breaux, the LSU Homecoming Court, LSU President Dr. F. King Alexander, and various campus organizations. Family Weekend Tailgate 1:00-4:00 pm LSU Parade Ground (South end, closest to Student Union) Tailgating is an LSU Tradition! Join us for a pre- game buffet and tailgate festivities, including a live band, photo booth and fun for the whole family! Look for our white tents and Family Weekend flags. LSU Residential Life Information Table 1:00-4:00 pm Parade Ground (in the tailgating section with yall!) and Nicholson Gateway Tour Center in the Student Union Live Easy. Live On. (As an Upperclassman!) Come cool down in the A/C, grab a water and get a sneak peek of the new Nicholson Gateway Apartments - opening in fall 2018 for LSU upperclassmen - in the Tour Center located on the ground floor of the Student Union. Enter the
exterior doors on the first floor facing the Parade Ground between the LSU Geaux Center and Union Theater. LSU Tailgate Party sponsored by Peoples Health Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) On your way to the game, stop by the LSU Tailgate Party sponsored by Peoples Health to check out performances by the LSU Cheerleaders and the Golden Band from Tigerland. Family Weekend nametag and wristband REQUIRED to attend, and all families should enter the party at either the South West ramp (closest to Mike the Tiger s habitat) or the Northwest Stairs (on the track side of the PMAC). **Reminder that the PMAC and Tiger Stadium both adhere to the LSU Athletic Facility Clear Bag Policy.
