Child and Youth Health Service (KJGD) Medical examination and consultation until the age of 18, such as: For children and youths without health insurance; For examinations relating to nursery admission, enrolment and immigration; Examination and implementation of preventive medical check-ups where necessary; Advice on vaccinations and their provision; Advice on developmental and health disorders. Socio-educational advice until the age of 2: Advice on care, nutrition, development and accident prevention in childhood; House visits on the birth of a child; Provision of early help programmes (such as family midwife, parent-child groups); Information regarding statutory benefits and support in cases of financial problems; Crisis intervention and child protection work in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Office.
