Emphasis is given to general and introductory materials applicable to most specializations. BOOKS on nursing can be found in the RT call number range, and books on general medicine are in the R range. These call numbers are found on the first floor of the Library (for reference books) and on the sixth floor (these can be borrowed). To search for books, you can access our online catalog: 1. CINAHL: Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health provides citations for nursing and allied health articles from scientific literature. Combined Health Information Database (CHID) provides citations for health information and health education resources. Ebscohost has a few health-related journal/citation databases. After selecting Ebscohost on the database selection page, select Health & Wellness under Search Databases by Topic to see a list of relevant databases. Medline, available through Ebscohost, provides citations for articles on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the pre-clinical sciences.
