St. Francis Health Services controls and operates Renville Health Services and is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of St. Cloud. We are dedicated to promoting the Ethical and Religious Directive for Catholic Health Care services. We wisely employ the talents, resources, and relationships entrusted to us. Renville Health Services believes in a resident centered, hospitality care model. Our focus and commitment is to continue to serve the health care demands and lifestyles of today's older adults with compassion and excellence. In an average year, Renville Health Services cares for approximately 145 residents and tenants. Often the percentage of residents from Renville and the surrounding communities is greater than 90%. The Renville Health Services community has the capacity to serve 115 residents and tenants on our campus A Senior Care Campus Auxiliary of approximate 12 members is involved in our community.

Our organizations sponsors a variety of programs and services for community members including: o Blood pressure clinics o Educational speakers o In house Banking by First Security Bank o Senior dining congregate and home delivered meals o Individual and family therapy Renville Health Services also offers the following services or programs to help older adults and family members in the community, o An informational booth at the Renville County Senior Expo and Renville County fair o A list of activities for the public to participate o Outpatient therapy o Adult Day Services In addition to medical services, Renville Health Services offers a wide variety of Social Activities. Activities include therapeutic value to specific resident needs both in physical activity groups and cognitive activity groups. The families and public are invited to attend. o Exercise o Bingo o Trivia o Board games o Bowling o Shuffle board o Current events o Discussion groups o Live entertainment o Card playing Renville Health Services offers services in: 24 Hour Skilled Nursing Care Postoperative Care Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy (Inpatient & Outpatient) Pain Management IV Therapy Wound Therapy Nutritional Education Spiritual Care Informal groups can be conducted through Activity Centers on each unit. Music and television with DVD players are used daily. Renville Health Services maintains social areas for visiting, reading and just relaxing. There are also monthly events including resident birthday parties, various outings and seasonal events.

Renville Health Services is a spiritual care community. Spiritual care is an integral part of holistic resident care. Renville Health Services has an active Spiritual Care Committee. With our sponsorship, we agree to uphold the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care. Worship and bible study are provided. Many of our local churches offer services within our facility. These include: o Hawk Creek/Rock Valle o First Lutheran o St. Mathew s Lutheran o Cross of Calvary Lutheran o Holy Redeemer/ St. Aloysius Catholic Church o Ebenezer Presbyterian o Our Savior s Lutheran o United Methodist o Emden Christian Reform o St. John s Lutheran o Zion Lutheran Ecumenical Bible Studies are held on a weekly basis A hymn sing once a week Weekly Devotions Quarterly Memorial Services so our residents and tenants have the chance to show their respects to their neighbors and friends. Education is a high priority in health care and for Renville Health Services. Providing opportunities to further education and learn new information and skills is essential to providing quality, comprehensive, and holistic resident care. Renville Health Services awards scholarship monies to assist staff in furthering their education. In 2013, over $13,000 in scholarships were given for those obtaining Licensed Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing degrees and Dietary Manager Certification. Staff has the opportunity to attend our state Aging Services of Minnesota convention for seminars RHS staff has the opportunity for additional training through Department of Human Services workshops Staff may apply to attend the St. Francis Health Services World Class Leadership Academy RHS hosts yearly Open Houses of our community Renville Health Services works with our area schools to educate students in the opportunities in Health care field

In 2013, the Renville Health Services Community s residents, tenants, board members and employees volunteer in the area communities. These individuals donated their time to the following organizations: o Adopt a Highway program o Relay for Life o Meals on Wheels o Area school fundraisers o Community fundraisers o Revitalizing Renville Programs o Community summer festivals o Other fundraising events Renville Health Services also provides an area for local organizations to host their meetings. The following are a few organizations that RHS works with. o RCW Bridge Club o Church Bible studies o RCW Ministerial o RCW Boy Scouts o RCW Girl Scouts o Lion s club o Local Church Organization Matter of Balance Training The Renville Health Services has a contract with Thrifty White Pharmacy Renville Health Services employees, board members, residents and tenants are active members of the community. They affiliate with several organizations, including o Lions Club o Relay for Life o Revitalizing Renville o Sugar Beet Committee o Local Ministerial o Card Clubs o Renville Ladies Bridge Club o Meals on Wheels o East Ridge Court o Girl Scouts o Boy Scouts o Renville Regional Senior Services o 4-H

As an organization, Renville Health Service has developed partnerships with the following organizations: o ASM o LeadingAge o East Ridge Court o Thrifty White o SFHS Affiliates o Catholic Diocese o Renville Regional Senior Services We currently have over 85 individuals and groups on our roster that enrich the programs and services provided to our residents, including support of our faith community. More than 75 volunteers donate their time to our organization, recording over 2,000 volunteer hours. Renville Health Services purchases products from local businesses spending approximately $276,00 each year. Renville Health Services routinely purchases from: RHS currently has 110 employees, of which 90 are from the communities of Renville, Danube, Sacred Heart and Olivia. As the largest employer in the city of Renville, our organization contributes over $2 million dollars to the local economy in the form of wages and benefits to our staff members Each year, Renville Health Services hosts a successful Golf Tournament fundraiser The Renville Health Service Community purchases products from the following local businesses: o Thrifty white Pharmacy o Community Electric o Chris Knight Excavating o Riverside Flooring o Danube Lumber o Steve s Hating and Air Conditioning o Maynard s Grocery o Bart s Place o A + Insurance o First Security Bank o Renville County Hospital and Clinics o Cenex o Renville Handi- stop o Olivia Golf Course o Country Rose o Leif Hanson Construction o Alco
