APPROVAL OF EARLY GRADUATION REQUESTS Early graduation from Oconomowoc High School requires action by the. The High School staff and administration have recommended approval for seventeen students. A copy of Policy No. 345.61 Early Graduation is provided. Board members may request access to individual information related to each student. This information is available in the Curriculum and Instruction office. Review of Phases 1-3 Wide Area Network /Wireless Initiative A Brief Progress Report on Improvements to the District s Technology Infrastructure The attached worksheet shows the progress made thus far on the WAN/Wireless technology initiative. At this point, progress is running ahead of bills received and paid. The I.T. staff provided the percent complete information, which is their best estimate of the progress through November 8, 2011. This update is intended to keep the Board informed regarding the project. No action is requested. The I.T. staff will be present to answer any questions. Action: None. FYI. 11/15/2011
READING 1: BOARD POLICY 361.1 SELECTION OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS Revision of Board Policy 361.1 Selection of Instructional Materials The ubiquitous nature of technology and its presence in our schools necessitates a review of our current policies governing the selection of instructional materials. The attached revised policy reflects the necessary components to guide OASD staff in the review and selection of instructional materials utilized in our classrooms including print and e-resources.
