ABSTRACT Middle/High School Exchange Program in Singapore is an educational program by nd th Gotravindo, held on May 2 5, 2018. Singapore is one of developed ASEAN countries that has advanced so much for the past decade. The economic growth of Singapore is unbelievably fast. There are many creative and innovative young individuals in Singapore who give their huge contribution to the country's rapid advance. The young generations need to learn many things from the country to advance their knowledge and widen their sight towards the excessive competition now-days. To be able to take a very close on how the country grows very fast is one way to learn. Hopefully, the young generations of Indonesia can be more creative and innovative economically in their journey towards their future.
NAME OF ACTIVITY INDONESIA-SINGAPORE EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE (I-SEE 2018) BENEFIT PROGRAM INTERNATIONAL DISCUSSION & JOURNEY EXCURSION The participants will attend discussion session with Singaporean students. Interacting with people from other country do open the possibility for new knowledge and wide way of thinking for better Indonesia. SOCIO-ECONOMY PATTERN CROSS-EXAMINATION Visiting several busy areas, the participant will practically examine how the social-economy activities flow in one of the fast growth ASEAN developed country. INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE MARKET ANALYSIS Exploring the heart of Singaporean landmarks and experiencing the atmosphere developed-busy country. Furthermore, as the impressive economic growth country in recent years, Singapore is the best country for the participants to sharpen creativity and innovation in marketing, since the country is well known for free-market innovation in the booming electronics and pharmaceutical industries. THE SCHEDULE nd DAY 1 (May 2, 2018): Changi Airport - Merlion Park - Marina Bay Sands - Helix Bridge The journey starts with a flight from Indonesia to Changi International Airport. Stepping out of the plane, the participants will be greeted with the distinct atmosphere and surrounded by the busy Singapore. In the airport, the committees will be waiting, ready to welcome all participants. All participants will have airport assistance and will be escorted to the hotel to have opening ceremony. After having opening ceremony and unpacking their luggage, the participants will be brought to the most iconic landmark of Singapore, Merlion Park. Merlion is not just a mere statue, but also the symbol of Singapore and the most stop by landmark to be captured, since one says that our visit will not be complete if we do not visit Merlion Park when in Singapore. Not only iconic, the Merlion statue also has a very exciting history to be learned. The participants will also be lead to explore Marina Bay Sands and examine the unique architectures. Beside Marina Bay Sands, the participants will also visit Fountain of Wealth and the majestic yet unique Helix Bridge.
THE SCHEDULE rd DAY 2 (May, 3 2018): National University of Singapore - Bras Basah - Masjid Sultan - Bugis Street The journey continues on the second day where the participants will start off the day visiting National University of Singapore, one of the three largest public and autonomous universities in Singapore which is ranked consistently as one of the world's top universities to feel the educational atmosphere of the campus learning activities. The participants are encouraged to grasp all information they can get from the campus and the students there, and hopefully learn all the differences and similarities from their campuses when going back to Indonesia. Leaving the campus, the participants will be brought to explore the city, even more by visiting Bras Basah and Masjid Sultan. To wrap up the day, the participants will be taken to examine the trading activities in the busy Bugis Street.
THE SCHEDULE th DAY 3 (May, 4 2018): CHIJ Secondary School - Sentosa Island - Chinatown Another day, another adventure. On the third day, the participants will be taken to another school, which is CHIJ Secondary School Singapore to have discussion about education in Singapore. Afterwards, the participants will be taken to another iconic landmark of Singapore, Sentosa Island. After exploring Sentosa Island, the participants will be lead to multicultural center of Singapore, where people of various ethnicity meet and do business alongside each other, the Chinatown. To end the day, all participants will have an entrepreneurial workshop and dinner before going back to the hotel and packing their bags for tomorrow's flight to Indonesia.
THE SCHEDULE th DAY 4 (May, 5 2018): Singapore Indonesia After having breakfast, the participants will have a closing ceremony in the hotel. On this last day of the adventure, the participants along with the committees will have a flight back to Indonesia, bringing handful of memories and new experience, as well as knowledge that hopefully can be applied to their daily lives back in Indonesia.
