SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 2018 Please note that there are additional activities scheduled for this day for new incoming students. Please refer to your New Student Orientation schedules for additional information. 9 A.M. TO 12 P.M. Returning Residential Student Move-In Meletia and Doyle Halls This is it! You re finally moving into your home away from home and starting a new year at Notre Dame! Get settled into your room and bid farewell to any family members as you re welcomed back to campus as a part of Welcome Week. 11 A.M. TO 3 P.M. Connect to Gator Resources Campus offices, such as Financial Aid, the Business Office, and the Registrar s Office, will be open from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. today to assist. The University s Triangle Bookstore in Gibbons Hall, Lower Level, will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 A.M. TO 1 P.M. Welcome Back Brunch Doyle Dining Hall Please join NDMU community members along with your families and guests for brunch in Doyle Dining Hall. Students with meal plans will be able to utilize their student ID card and swipe that card upon entry. Students without dining plans may purchase brunch at the door for a discounted $7.00. Guests may purchase brunch at the door for $15.00. 1 P.M. TO 2 P.M. Explore the Shuttle! Baltimore Collegetown Network, Doyle Circle Baltimore Collegetown Network offers a free transportation service for students at local participating area universities and colleges to navigate the Baltimore area. Come tour the shuttle and learn about what both Baltimore Collegetown Network and the shuttle can provide during your time at Notre Dame. 3 P.M. TO 4 P.M. Community Outreach Project, Doyle Hall, Lower Level, Gator Alley Consider giving of your time and talent alongside your fellow Gators, Student Engagement & Community Programs and Community Program Assistants (CPAs) to prepare kits that will be distributed to Baltimore community members who are experiencing homelessness throughout the upcoming academic year. 3:30 P.M. TO 5:30 P.M. Gator VIP All-Access Event Gibbons Hall, Lower Level, Triangle Bookstore Experience an afternoon of raffles, discounted NDMU gear, pictures with Gabby the Gator, and one on one help with textbooks at Triangle Bookstore. First 100 attendees get some #NDMUProud swag!

4:45 P.M. TO 6 P.M. Welcome BBQ Doyle Hall, Gator Patio (Rain Location: Gator Alley) Enjoy BBQ with your fellow Gators as well as lawn games and music. Use your meal plan or pay at the door ($7.00 for students without dining plan; $15.00 for guests). 6 P.M. TO 7 P.M. Commuter Connections Doyle Hall, Gator Alley Commuter students will have the opportunity to meet with Road Scholars, the University s commuter student organization, and receive updates, resources, and information about commuting to campus this upcoming academic year. 9 P.M. TO MIDNIGHT Campus Activities Board (CAB) Back to School Bash Doyle Hall, Doyle Lawn (Rain Location is in Doyle Formal) Nothing beats ending your summer and starting the school year off with a end of summer celebration! Come out and meet new friends, catch up with old ones and enjoy the night with glow-in-the-dark games and activities DJ Rome will be there taking requests. Grab your friends and come celebrate! Only NDMU students are permitted. Tickets are $10 with transportation provided and are non-refundable and transferable. Accompanied by representatives from The Maryland Collaborative, we will explore risks associated with excessive alcohol and drug use and ways to enjoy yourself in college while being responsible. Normal operating schedule is below unless otherwise modified due to special campus events and/or university breaks or closures: Mondays thru Fridays Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dinner, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays Brunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students will be able to purchase meals at the door (starting at $6.75 and up depending on the meal and plan) THE GATOR GRIND The Gator Grind, the University s café that proudly serves Starbucks items, will follow normal operating schedule unless otherwise modified due to special campus events: Mondays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students will be able to purchase select coffees and teas and a la carte menu items by cash or credit card.
