Join alumnus Andrew Garcia 11, Talent Acquisition Sourcing Lead at New Balance, for a networking workshop. He brings his tips and tricks learned over the past 6 years in corporate recruitment right to you! Andrew will guide you on how to standing out in the interview process and provide best practices in navigating the sometime overwhelming web based career recruitment platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed, and more). For those family members who were at the Parenting Journey during orientation, join us and let us hear how things are going. This is a chance to share your experiences with other Landmark parents. Its mission is to empower young adults with learning disabilities through an innovative training, mentoring and paid internship program. Carolyn will provide an overview of BroadFutures including its history, mission, highly supportive program, as well as outcomes and metrics. She will highlight the exciting and credit bearing, paid internship program that BroadFutures offers to Landmark College students. She will provide case studies on the diversity of internship opportunities as well as the students that BroadFutures serves. Career Connections will also offer a brief overview of the internship for credit process and the supports available to our students who apply to internships. 10 11 a.m. Demonstration Classes 5

These include a virtual reality demonstration (Oculus Rift/HTC Vive), attention- enhancing video game, and more! You ll also learn about how our current research is enhancing the Landmark College student experience. 11 Noon Hasbro, Inc. Internship Opportunities: East Academic Building, Brooks O Brien Auditorium Joanna Kalafarski, Senior Manager of Creative Communications, Creative Development Studios at Hasbro, Inc. Daniel Bryand, Hasbro Inc., Project Engineer, Software Integrated Play Jan Coplan, Director of Career Connections Joanna Kalafarski, Senior Manager and Site Supervisor of a former Landmark College intern, will provide an overview of the Hasbro internship program and the amazing opportunities it offers to Landmark College students across the company. Hasbro, located in Pawtucket, RI, has a well-established college internship program that allows students to earn college credit.
