3 Friday 04MAR2016 1100 COLORADO MEET TIMELINE: Time Event Location Comments Check in Begins Wardroom (Stadium, Gate 6, 2 nd Deck) Schools should be in touch with their CU NROTC Liaison about their arrival time. They may pick up Information/Welcome Packets upon arrival. 1200 Rifle Competition Begins Longmont Range See Event Participant List for scheduled shooting times for each team. All teams need to check in 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. 2000 Check in for incoming units ends Rifle Competition Staff close for the day. Final two teams will shoot on Saturday starting at 0600 Wardroom Longmont Range All incoming units will have checked in with Colorado Meet OIC and/or CU NROTC Liaison by this time. Saturday 05MAR2016 0500 CU NROTC Volunteer Check in/accountability begins for Endurance Race 0515 All Endurance Team members from each school arrive for gear distribution and check-in for Endurance Race and a prerace welcome from CU NROTC BNCO 0600 Endurance Race Commences Carlson Pool Maps given, questions answered, liaisons assigned. Events are briefed to volunteers and sent to designated areas. Sign out sheets will be filled out, and an ID card of a representative for each Endurance Team will be held while CU NROTC gear is checked out. Team #1 and #2 in the start order will begin at the same time. 0630 Color Guard and Squad Drill staff arrive. Begin set-up for events. Carlson Gym 0640 Color Guard Check-In Begins Squad Drill Check-In Begins 0700 Color Guard and Squad Drill Competitions Commence Carlson Gym Carlson Gym Check in for first teams for both events. Schools will check in at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled start time for both Color Guard and Squad Drill.

7 ENDURANCE RACE NOTICE: The Endurance Race will be referred to as a Fun Run by all people involved while out on the mountain trails. Also, we have received complaints from the Boulder Parks department in the past about excessive and disruptive noise from people on our CU NROTC Fun Run. Motivational cadences and yelling are not to take place during this evolution. Arrival Time: ALL Endurance Teams will arrive at 0515 on Saturday 05 March for gear issue. Teams will arrive at Carlson Pool prepared to begin the race before their designated start time. Location: (Gear Issue) Carlson Gym Pool (For Race Start) Gear list: The Endurance Race staff asks that each school have one student designated to check our gear for the race. All of the team s gear will be checked out under that individual s name. There will be sign out sheets for gear and the supply staff will hold onto the designated individual s ID card until gear has been returned. 9 Course Map: Spectating: Below are the approximate times to get from station to station throughout the course. If anyone wishes to see their team on the course, simply add the times below to the start time of your team in order to get a close estimate of where they should be at a given time.

11 DRILL AND COLOR GUARD NOTICE: Ensure that NOBODY is walking around anywhere on campus with drill rifles except for within the specifically listed competition and practice areas. Also, Squad Drill and Color Guard will be taking place at the same time on the same field. Proper spacing will be allotted. Arrival Time: All Squad Drill, Platoon Drill, and Color Guard teams must show up and check in at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled start time (See schedule below). 13 *Be advised, we have had issues with GPS giving proper directions to to the Longmont PD Firing Range, so we highly recommend using this map and directions for navigation purposes* Gear: There will be mandatory sign out sheets in order to use any of CU NROTC s Rifle and Pistol gear. Our gear will all be at the Longmont Police Department Firing Range for the duration of all the shooting events. We can provide gear to schools that need it.
14 AWARDS CEREMONY Description: There will be an Awards Ceremony at 1530 in to announce the winners of the competitions as well as the winner of the overall meet. This is an all hands event. Schools must show up by 1515 in order to organize into the proper formation for the ceremony. There will be word from The Professor of Naval Science from CU NROTC, Colonel Gough, as well as word from the CU NROTC Battalion Commander, MIDN 1/C Atkinson. Afterward, the Colorado Meet staff will present the awards. The awards that will be given are as follows: 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Endurance Race 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Platoon Drill 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Squad Drill 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Color Guard 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Rifle Team 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place: Pistol Team Top Individual Rifle Shooter Top Individual Pistol Shooter Best School Overall - Colorado Meet Champion Arrival Time: All hands will arrive at 1515. The ceremony will commence at 1530. Location: Formation: Formation will be by school. Six people across, fill in the back. Uniform: Proper Civilian Attire
15 HOSPITALITY Food: On Friday, 04 MAR, there will be granola bars and Gatorades for the Pistol shooters at the Longmont Range. On Saturday, 05MAR, a small breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, fruit, and granola bars will be provided. Lunch on Saturday, 05MAR, will be catered by Café Rio. Evening Social: When: Saturday, 05March, 1800 Where: Attic Bar & Bistro 949 Walnut St. Suite 220d Boulder, CO 80302 We will be hosting an evening social at the Attic Bar & Bistro. All members and staff are invited. Dinner will not be offered, but the Attic has a restaurant that individuals can order from. It is recommended you get food before the social. Although the Attic has a restaurant, if everyone who attends the social orders at once, food orders will take a very long time. We will have an open bar for draft beers and well liquors up to a certain amount. After that, it will be a cash bar. Soda will also be included on the open bar. There will be pool tables, foosball, and arcade games. Pool and Foosball are free of charge, but arcade games require change. There is a change machine there. If your members wish to order food there, buy more expensive drinks, play arcade games, etc. we suggest they bring cash to the social. But there is also an ATM machine at the location. **Absolutely NO underage drinking will be tolerated! - Make sure members of your school do not violate this. - If there are violations, they will be immediately removed and their staff will be notified. Please be professional and respectful to the staff of Attic Bar & Bistro. Represent your schools well and have fun.
