experience to residents, interns and doctors who are exposed to a great variety and number of cases. This hospital provides the ideal balance where residents can gain extensive experiences in the field by having the backup of excellent teaching and training facilities. Residents are expected to assess, care for and manage patients under supervision by senior doctors. The hospital handles full scope of gynecological operations including oncological and laparoscopic procedures. The high risk pregnancy unit is equipped with the most advanced medical equipments including Doppler ultrasounds and CTG machines and is skilled in the management of patients with high risk pregnancies by providing genetic counseling, prenatal screening and diagnostic tests, intrauterine fetal procedures and antenatal care. The labour ward is equipped with the most advanced medical equipments including Doppler ultrasound and CTG machines during labour. In the course of my residency/specialization I handled all admission ward emergencies partly independently and partly under supervision.
