If you haven t already, make plans now to head to New Bern, March 14-16, 2002, for NCPA s Annual Meeting & Seminar. Much effort has gone into the planning of this seminar, and I know you will benefit from attending. See you there! Have a wonderful Valentine s Day! PRESIDENT S REPORT Theresa (Terry) Irvin, CLA (704) 388-7030 (w) theresa.irvin@bankofamerica.com Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow! It won t be long before we ll all be there with snow. Those were the lyrics the Executive Committee and Board members were singing the first week in January when we had to postpone our meeting until January 12th. I took advantage of the rescheduling and headed to Appalachian for snow skiing. If you can t drive in it, you might as well ski in it! When we did meet, it was a power meeting. Reports were given, motions made, discussions ensued, and votes were taken. We started at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 2:00 p.m., and yes, we even broke for a quick lunch. The Board and Executive Committee have worked hard all year and are wrapping matters up for the March meeting. Make sure you register early for the Annual Meeting and Seminar. Misplaced your brochure? No problem! Visit our web-site at and download it! See you in March! Be sure to check out this revised language. The fees payable to the Register of Deeds for recordation have increased effective January 1, 2002.
