Oct 2016 The Elizabeth Daily Journal Goes Digital! In its first phase, the digital archive will encompass the January 1871 through August 1915 issues of the Elizabeth Daily Journal, making The Elizabeth Daily Journal readily accessible not only to patrons from our area and state, but also to researchers around the world. Researchers and the general public will be able to search for specific names or terms within the online database or browse through different publication dates. Archives will be available on our website beginning October 13.Workshops on the use of the database will be offered from October through December. For more information on the Elizabeth Daily Journal Digitization Project or the Local History and Special Collections Department, contact Aimee Fernandez-Puente at (908) 354-6060 x. 7220 or e-mail afernandez@elizpl.org.
