She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, and holds certifications as a Certified Government Finance Officer and Certified Government Financial Manager. As Chief Financial Officer, she has primary responsibility for incorporating financial forecasting, budgeting, planning, and reporting, human resources administration, and financial administration of state and federal appropriations for the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station and College of Agriculture.
