The contest, which was sponsored by First 5 LA s Early Care and Education High School Recruitment (ECE HSR) Program, gave students in the HSR program the opportunity to write, direct, and edit video for a 60-second PSA, in which they inform their peers on issues related to Early Care and Education while encouraging them to participate in the First 5 LA s ECE HSR Program. Martha and Sandra s contest-winning PSAs explain how programs such as HSR Program can help our communities alleviate other social issues.
