CART SHUTTLE (FREE) Daily, 7 a.m.-5:45 p.m. The Cudahy Area Rapid Transit (CART) shuttle conveniently loops across the city, so riders can access schools, parks and shopping. DIAL-A-RIDE (MEMBERSHIP) Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., 50 cents/trip Beginning in March, the City expanded its Dial-A-Ride (DAR) service, extending operating hours and increasing the radius for medical trips from 1 to 3 miles. DAR is a low-cost shuttle service for Cudahy residents ages 60 years and older, or who have a qualifying disability. Book a reservation anywhere within City borders, medical trips up to 3 miles beyond and other designated locations. Users must apply for membership to use this service. Members have a monthly allowance of 26 trips. For more information or to apply, visit City Hall. Applicants must show proof of age, and demonstrate residency through a current utility bill. Applicants with a disability should also submit a physician s statement. DISCOUNTED METRO PASSES Cudahy TAP cardholders may visit City Hall to purchase half-off monthly passes for use on the regional Metro bus and rail system. Subsidized rates are available for K-12 and college/vocational students, seniors ages 60 years and older, and disabled.
