Parents are welcome to join for the send-off. The canoe trip will end at Simpson Park, where ICO staff and parents will be waiting with dinner! (Meet at the red Covered Bridge to depart. Shuttle departs from Eisenhower Campus Center. At 7:30 p.m., a shuttle will take you from the park to the Wingate. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. ***Music Majors*** Music Theory Placement for Music Majors. High Center, Room 101 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Continental Breakfast (Optional.) 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Banking with BB&T Representatives from Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) will be present for you to sign up for a checking account. They offer online banking and two ATMs on campus. Upon return, International Admissions staff will drop you off at the Wingate Hotel. 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Social Security Numbers and Student Payroll Representatives from the United States Social Security Administration will be 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Writing Assessment present to process applications and Student Employment will be present to help you correctly complete paperwork for work study positions. Boyer 230 and Boyer 231 (Bring: Completed SSN application, passport, F-1 visa) Students previously notified by email will meet with Professor Christine Perrin, Director of Writing, for their writing exam.
