Leave from ID cards and room keys, sign up for shopping trips, purchase a phone or SIM card, and move into Residence Hall. (- please bring passport, F-1 visa, and I-20) Eisenhower Campus Center 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Welcome Session and Dinner Martin Commons in 5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Shopping Trip to Walmart and Sam s Wholesale Club! Bring your $$ to get school and dorm room supplies! Walmart and Sam s Club are in this shopping center along with a few smaller stores and restaurants. Upon return, International Admissions staff will drop you off at the Wingate Hotel. 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Banking with BB&T Representatives from Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) will be present for you to sign up for a checking account. They offer online banking and two ATMs on campus. (Bring your completed banking paperwork, passport, visa, student ID, and be certain you know your unit number!) 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Student Payroll Student Employment will be present to help you correctly complete paperwork for work-study positions. (Bring: Passport, F-1 visa, I-94) 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Dinner with your IMPA Mentors 6:10 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Trindle Bowl Prepare for a fun night of bowling with your IMPA mentors! (Bring socks to wear with your bowling shoes.) Depart from Thursday, August 30, 2018 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. Breakfast 8:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Day Trip to Lancaster with International Admissions Staff (Advanced sign-up required on Sunday at Check-in) Depart from Eisenhower Campus Center. Upon return, International Admissions staff will drop you off at the Wingate Hotel. 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Textbook Tutorial IMPAs share their wisdom on where to buy textbooks, when to keep them, and more! 10:00 a.m.-10:40 a.m. Postal Services at Messiah Learn all you need to know to about your mail box and the services provided by the Messiah College Post Office. 3

12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Luncheon, hosted by the Dean of Students We will be joined by the incoming Multicultural Students. President Kim will be the guest of honor. 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Rafiki House/ISA/MuKappa/Multicultural Council Get to know some of your fellow students during this fun time planned for you by them! 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Writing Assessment Students previously notified by email will meet with Professor Christine By invitation only Perrin, Director of Writing, for their writing exam. Topics include immigration, the role of the Intercultural Office, and diversity on campus.
