UG Programs I. Eligibility for Admissions and Scholarships To be eligible to appear in Glocal Scholarship Test-2018 or to seek admission on the basis of JEE/CLATscore, a candidate should have obtained a Higher Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 50% marks (in the subject combination required) and should be below 21 years of age as on 1st July 2018. The SC/ST/OBC/Children of Defence Personnel/Disabled candidates shall be given a relaxation of5% in the eligibility marks prescribed for the General Category candidates. However, fulfilling the eligibility criteria is just the beginning of a process and does not automatically entitle a candidate toadmission. Scholarship Process All candidates seeking scholarship will have to submit a duly filled Glocal Scholarship Form. Those candidates who are eligible for Merit Scholarships A, B, C shall be granted scholarships straightaway after proper verification of the documents. Those candidates who are not eligible for Scholarships A, B or C shall be considered for Scholarship D (merit-cum-means). Page3
For Scholarship D a merit-cum-means list will be prepared according to an objective criteria mentioned in clause-vi. Scholarship E refers to the Management Quota and the Hon ble Chancellor may select a certain proportion of candidates (say 10%) from those who have failed to make it for Scholarship D (as per the merit-cum-means list). The proportion of candidates to be selected for Scholarship E shall be decided by the Hon ble Chancellor after the preparation of the merit-cum-means list. All scholarships,though, in principle, applicable for the entire duration of the academic program, shall beassessed and renewed each year on the basis of the performance of the candidate. The academic performance, for considering the continuation of the scholarship, shall be assessed on the basis of an objective criteria (CGPA) laid down by each School and communicated to the candidate at the time of granting of the Scholarship. VI: Scholarship D: Guidelines for the Preparation of Merit-cum-Means List I. A student has to score a minimum of 70% (cut-off) in the scholarship test in order to be considered under this scheme. The table below, shows course wise scholarship amount under this scheme. General Awareness 25 TOTAL 100 d) The candidates eligible for Scholarships A, B and C are exempt from the written components of GST and may be admitted directly on the basis of the interview. e) The international students are also exempt from the written components of GST and may be admitted directly on the basis of the interview. f) Candidates whose admission has been confirmed and intimated by the Glocal Admission Office will have to submit the registration fee (Rs 15000). g) In order to complete the admission process the candidates will have to submit the semester fee and all the relevant documents as per the checklist provided by the Glocal Admission Office. PG Program I: Admission Process: MBA 2018 (Glocal School of Business& Commerce) Eligibility Criteria: The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Masters of Business Administration in 2018 is at least 50% marks in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from any of the recognized Universities, Deemed Universities, Institutions of National Importance or from a Professional Body including ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, etc. Candidates in the final year of a Bachelor's degree course or equivalent are also eligible to apply. However the`y are required to furnish the proof of graduation before 30th November of the year of joining. Application and Selection Process: 1. The applicant needs to apply through the Glocal Admission Form which is available online at Glocal Website. 2. The completed form must be submitted along with the self-attested copies of mark sheets (10th class onwards) and other certificates. 3. Applicants taking the CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA examination, and achieving high percentile score will get added advantage in selection procedure. 4. Based on the applicants application form, a selected number of applicants will be invited for Personal Interview at Glocal Campus. Note for Applicants: 1. Application Form and Prospectus are available on payment of Rs. 1000/- by cash or through post by sending a DD of Rs. 1100/-. 2. Incomplete applications in any respect will not be processed. 3. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. 4. Any misrepresentation or suppression of information and misconduct during or after selection will lead to cancellation of admission and expulsion. 5. Scholarship Process 1. All PG candidates seeking scholarship will have to submit a duly filled GlocalScholarship Form. 2. A merit-cum-means list will be prepared according to the aforementioned criteria and the Scholarships shall be granted on the basis of the following categories: i. Top 5%: Full Tuition fee ii. Next 10%: 50% of Tuition fee iii. Next 15%: 30% of Tuition Fee 3. There shall be a provision for Management Quota and the Hon ble Chancellor may select a certain proportion of candidates (say 10%) from those who have failed to make it for the Scholarship as per the merit-cum-means list. The proportion of candidates to be selected for the Management quota shall be decided by the Hon ble Chancellor after the preparation of the merit-cum-means list. 4.
