Dr. and Mrs. Richard Albright, Jr. Scholarship Health/Science Related and Agriculture Scholarships will be awarded to senior(s) graduating under these conditions: 1. Student must have an academic average of B. 2. Student must be matriculating to a three or four year college program. 3. Student must have financial need. 4. Student must be planning to continue education in agriculture, health and/or science related area. If, in the judgment of the committee, the candidates do not meet the criteria that has been established in both scholarship areas, the committee may select two winners in the same category: i.e. (both in agriculture or both in health). Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs 4 @ $1000 The Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs scholarships will be awarded to students satisfying the following selection criteria: 1. The award is to be given to students in the graduating class of Solanco High School. The students must have attended Solanco High School for four years, grades nine through twelve. 2. The scholarship selection committee must consider the following criteria in selecting the scholarship recipient: a) Average or better class standing and scholastic ability. b) Good character, leadership and moral standards. c) Involved in school or community activities. d) Student with limited financial resources. 3. The scholarship must be used for educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an institution for higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The scholarship is to be applied toward tuition, room and board and other necessary educational expenses. 4. The scholarship must be paid directly to the educational institution; half of the scholarship will be awarded during the first semester, the remaining half during the second semester. If the recipient discontinues their education after the first semester, the remaining half of the scholarship will be carried forward and awarded during the following year s graduation. William Avis, Jr. Memorial Scholarship One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded to a graduating senior. The scholarship awarded is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient: 1. Class standing and scholastic ability (average standing or better). 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Activities in school and community. 4. Financial need.

Bart-Colerain Elementary Memorial Scholarship In Memory of Erin O Donnell & Brittany Wrigley Applicants must: 1. Have attended Bart-Colerain Elementary School a minimum of 2 full years. 2. Be a Solanco High School Senior. 3. Be accepted by an accredited post-secondary institution, (4 year college, 2-year college, or a trade school). 4. Submit 3 written recommendations from teachers and/or administrators, employers, clergy, community leaders, etc. (excluding any relatives.) 5. Submit an application, which is typewritten or nearly printed in ink. 6. Include a separate sheet explaining why you are deserving. 7. Meet with the scholarship selection/screening committee for personal interview. 8. Student must mail completed application to Bart-Colerain by the deadline posted on the application. Bart Township Alumni Scholarship 1 @ $1000 Applicants Must: 1. Reside in Bart Township. 2. Be accepted by an accredited post secondary institution. (4 year college, 2 year college, trade school) 3. Submit a maximum 2 page summary emphasizing good character, community involvement, and school involvement to the Guidance Department by April 1. 4. Submit 3 recommendations, BUT NO MORE THAN 2 FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL. The other one may be from community leaders, clergy, etc. 5. Meet with the Scholarship Committee for a personal interview. 6. Must have attended Bart-Colerain Elementary School a minimum of 2 full years excluding kindergarten. Brandon Scott Branch Memorial Scholarship The scholarship will be awarded to a student in the graduating class of Solanco High School. The scholarship must be used for educational expenses (including tuition and other required educational expenses) incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education (trade school, college or university) as part of a two or four year degree program. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution. A committee consisting of the High School principal, guidance counselor and one or more family representatives will select the recipient for the scholarship. The selection committee will choose an alternate recipient in the event that the primary scholarship recipient does not accept or is unable to use the scholarship award. The recipient for the scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria: Student pursuing a degree in business or marketing. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. Student involved in the school district s baseball, softball or soccer program. Student with limited financial resources. Student that does not receive any other scholarships should be given priority for this scholarship

Class of 2013 Legacy Scholarship 1 @ $200 A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior in the amount of $200, to be disbursed for the payment of educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution of higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The Selection Committee shall be comprised of the Class of 2013 Senior Officers and the 2013 Class Advisor. The following criteria will be considered when selecting the scholarship recipient: 1. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 2. Student must display character and good personal traits, especially passion, a sense of humor, initiative, and maturity. 3. Student must be involved in school and community activities. Submission of two (2) letters of recommendation from faculty members and/or community 0representatives attesting to the above qualities. 4. A one-page essay on If I were an ice cream flavor, which flavor would I be and why? Applicants may be asked to attend a personal interview with the Selection Committee. NOTE: This scholarship may be awarded to a relative of a District employee, School Director, or Selection Committee member. Class of 2014 Scholarship 1 @ $250 The scholarship will be awarded to a student in the graduating class of the Solanco High School. The scholarship must be used for educational expenses (including tuition and other necessary educational expenses) incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education (trade school, college or university) as part of a two or four year degree program. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution. The recipient for the scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria: Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. Student involved in school or community activities. Student will submit an essay entitled: How relationships formed now will impact your future Student will submit a peer reference, from another Solanco senior.

Applicants must: Clermont Elementary PTO Scholarship in Honor of Mrs. Beverly Kreeger 1. Have attended Clermont Elementary School a minimum of two complete years, including 4 th and 5 th grades. 2. Be a Solanco High School senior planning to enroll, or a Solanco High School graduate presently enrolled at any accredited school or institution for advanced educational training in any field. 3. Submit three written recommendations from teachers and/or administrators, employers, clergy, community leaders, etc. (excluding any relatives) 4. Submit an application, which is typewritten or neatly printed in ink. 5. Submit complete transcript of high school and/or college grades. 6. Show community and school involvement. 7. Meet with the scholarship committee for a personal interview, if requested. 8. The scholarship committee shall meet on or before May 1 st to consider the applications and select the recipient or recipients. Applicants must: Clermont Elementary PTO Scholarship 1. Submit three written recommendations from teachers and/or administrators, employers, clergy, community leaders, etc. (excluding any relatives). 4. Submit an application, which is typewritten or neatly printed in ink. 5. Submit complete transcript of high school and/or college grades. 6. Show community and school involvement. 7. Meet with the scholarship committee for a personal interview, if requested. 8. The scholarship committee shall meet on or before May 1 st to consider the applications and select the recipient or recipients.

Andre J. Dupuis Memorial Scholarship 1 @ $1,500 A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior. The recipient of the award will be someone who is passionate, just as Andre was. The scholarship will be disbursed, directly to the institution, for the payment of educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited technical or trade school for post-secondary education as part of a degree or professional certification program. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Student pursuing a degree or professional certificate in the trades. 2. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 3. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. 4. Student involved in school or community activities. Farm Women #15 Scholarship A scholarship will be awarded to a senior boy or girl furthering their education in any area. The following criteria will be used in selecting the student for the scholarship: 1. Class standing and scholastic ability. (Recipient should have average standing or better). 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Activities in school and community. 4. Financial need. Ferguson and Hassler Scholarship A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who will be continuing their education in business or a business-related field. The scholarship awarded is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education at an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered when selecting the recipient: 1. Class standing and scholastic ability (B or better). 2. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 3. Activities in school and community. 4. Financial Need. Mr. & Mrs. Future Business Leader Scholarship 2 @ $150 (1 Male, 1 Female) A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior (1 male and 1 female). The scholarship will be disbursed for the payment of educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Student pursuing a degree with a major or minor in business or student passed two or more High School business courses. 2. Student is an active member of the FBLA club.

Cathy Hammer Memorial Scholarship 1 @ $1000 The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior. The Hammer family will select the recipient. The scholarship will be awarded to a Solanco student satisfying the following selection criteria: 1. The award is to be given to a student in the graduating class of Solanco High School. 2. The Hammer family will consider the following criteria in selecting the scholarship recipient: a) Average or better class standing and scholastic ability. b) Good character, leadership and moral standards. c) Involved in school or community activities. d) Student with limited financial resources. 3. The scholarship is to be awarded to a student pursuing a career in teaching. 4. The scholarship must be used for educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution as part of a four-year degree program in the field of education. The scholarship is to be applied toward tuition, room and board and other necessary educational expenses. 5. The scholarship must be paid directly to the educational institution; half of the scholarship will be awarded during the first semester, the remaining half during the second semester. If the recipient discontinues their education after the first semester, the remaining half of the scholarship will be carried forward and awarded during the following year s graduation. Arthur Harrington Cross Country & Track and Field Scholarship 2 @ $500 The Arthur Harrington Cross Country & Track and Field Scholarship consists of 2 awards to be presented to 1 boy and 1 girl in the Senior Class of Solanco High School. The criteria for these awards are: 1. Accepted to a two or four year post-secondary school. 2. Have a positive high school record in discipline and attendance. 3. Completed a minimum of three seasons in Varsity Cross Country and/or Track at Solanco High School 4. Demonstrated good sportsmanship and leadership qualities Bret C. Hershey Music Scholarship 1 @ $1200 The scholarship awarded is to be used for payment of educational expenses in a degree or non-degree program in the area of study chosen by the student. The winner is not required to be enrolled in a music program but must have participated in music at school and in the community. The committee should be made up of the high school principal, counselor, music director and member of the Hershey family. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Class standing and scholastic ability. (Recipient should have average standing or better). 2. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 3. Participation in music at school and in the community.

Earl M. Linton Memorial Agricultural Award 1 @ $300 Given annually to a student to be used towards educational expenses during the first year of enrollment in a degree or non-degree program that provides training in the field of agriculture. Criteria to be used: 1. Class standing and scholastic ability (average standing or better). 2. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 3. Activities in school and community. 4. Financial need. 5. Agricultural interest of the student in areas such as soil conservation, farming, and related agribusiness industries. Charlene Musselman Music Scholarship A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior and is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of music. The following criteria will be used in selecting the scholarship recipient: 1. Class standing and scholastic ability. (Recipient should have average class standing or better). 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Music activities in school and community; i.e. Band, Chorale. 4. Financial need. 5. Must be pursuing a degree in music. National Honor Society Scholarship (NHS Members Only) $500 (1 or more) See Mrs. Schell for application Pribitkin-Day Award 1 @ $100 The recipient for the scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria: 1. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 2. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Student involved in school or community activities. 4. Student who has taken three or more years of a world language. 5. Student who is a pursuing a future involving a world language. 6. Student has completed application as designed by World Language Department.

Providence Elementary PTO Scholarship 1 @ $750 The Providence Elementary PTO Scholarship is an opportunity to recognize students for outstanding service to the community by providing a college scholarship in the amount of $750. The PTO Executive Committee will select the student. The following criteria must be met: 1. Must have attended the Providence Elementary School. 2. Must be planning to attend a post-secondary school. 3. Must be involved in community service. Quarryville American Legion Scholarship 1 @ $1000 for 4 years The Selection Committee will be comprised of three American Legion Members and one Solanco Staff Member. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Solanco High School. To be eligible to continue to receive the scholarship, the student must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in college. Criteria for selection: 1. Financial need. 2. Average grades or better. 3. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 4. Activities in school and community. Quarryville Elementary PTO / Austin Kreeger Scholarship Applicants must: 1. Have attended Quarryville Elementary a minimum of 2 full years, excluding kindergarten. 2. Be accepted by an accredited post secondary institution, (4 year college, 2 year college, or trade school.) 3. Submit 3 written recommendations from teachers and/or administrators, employers, clergy, community leaders, etc. (excluding any relatives). 4. Submit an application, which is typewritten or neatly printed in ink. 5. Show community and school involvement. 6. Meet with the scholarship selection/screening committee for personal interview. 7. It is the student s responsibility to see that the completed application is received by Quarryville Elementary School by the deadline on the application. Quarryville VFW, Post 3575 The award will be presented to a graduating senior from Solanco High School meeting the criteria listed below. 1. Financial need (family income less than $60,000). 2. Average grades or better. 3. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 4. Activities in school and community. 5. Patriotism. 6. Must be going on to some form of higher education.

Rotary Club of Lancaster South 1 @ $1000 Awarded to the senior who best exemplifies outstanding service within the school and community. It should be an individual who is willing to provide their talents and abilities without regard to personal interests. Just as International Rotary s Mission Statement is Service above Self. A Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior. The scholarship awarded is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient(s). 1. Current Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better. 2. Student who demonstrates involvement in music, athletic, and community activities. 3. To be used by a graduating Solanco Senior for higher education. Jeffrey Roth Memorial Scholarship 2 @ $1000 for 4 years The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior. The maximum scholarship award is $4,000 paid in annual installments of $1,000 per school year. The scholarship will be disbursed for the payment of educational expenses incurred during enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Student with history of school or community service. 2. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 3. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. 4. Student with limited financial resources. Shining Star Commitment to Child Care Scholarship 1 @ $1000 The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior, who is selected by the scholarship selection committee. The scholarship will be awarded to a Solanco student satisfying the following selection criteria: 1. The award is to be given to a student in the graduating class of Solanco High School. 2. Guidance Counselors and teachers from the FACS Department will select the winner 3. The scholarship selection committee must consider the following criteria in selecting the scholarship recipient: a) Higher GPA and scholastic ability. b) Good character, leadership and moral standards. c) Involved in school or community activities 4. The scholarship is to be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. 5. The scholarship must be used for educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution as part of a degree program in the field of Early Childhood Education. The scholarship is to be applied toward tuition, room and board and other necessary educational expenses. 6. The scholarship must be paid directly to the educational institution; half of the scholarship will be awarded during the first semester, the remaining half during the second semester. If the recipient discontinues their education after the first semester, the remaining half of the scholarship will be carried forward and awarded during the following year s graduation.

Solanco Alumni Soccer Scholarship 2 @ $250 This one (1) $200 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior. The scholarship is to be used for the educational expenses associated with post secondary education. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient: 1. Participated in Solanco Boys Soccer a minimum of two (2) complete seasons. 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. 2.5 GPA or higher. Solanco Cheerleading Association Scholarship 2 @ $500 Up to two (2) scholarships at $500.00 each will be awarded to graduating seniors for payment of educational expenses in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. This scholarship will be awarded to the seniors who best meet the following conditions: 1. Applicant must have participated in at least two complete seasons as a Solanco Midget Cheerleader. 2. Applicant must have cheered 2 years during high school, or assisted for 2 years with Solanco Midget Cheerleading Association. (this could be 1 year high school cheer & 1 year helper) 3. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 4. Active in school and community. 5. Class standing and scholastic ability (recipient should have average standing or better). 6. Letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach must be attached Solanco Education Association (SEA) Scholarship 2 @ $1500 (4-year College) Selection Procedure: 1. Student must file scholarship application to the Guidance Department by April 1. 2. Selection will be made by May 15. 3. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1500 (2). 4. Student must be accepted into a four-year college. Priority may be given to students majoring in an educational field of study. 5. Payment of the scholarship will be made directly to the educational institution in two equal payments. It will be the responsibility of the student to notify the SEA treasurer of the institution and deadline for the payments. 6. Application must reflect the academic achievement as well as school and community involvement of the student.

Solanco Education Association (SEA) Scholarship 1 @ $1000 (2 Year Trade/Technical School) Selection Procedure: 1. Student must file scholarship application to the Guidance Department by April 1. 2. Selection will be made by May 15. 3. Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1000. 4. Student must be accepted into a trade or technical school, medical tech program or business school. 5. Payment of the scholarship will be made directly to the educational institution in two equal payments. It will be the responsibility of the student to notify the SEA treasurer of the institution and deadline for the payments. Application must reflect the academic achievement as well as school and community involvement of the student. Solanco Education Foundation Scholarship $1000 each General Information: This scholarship was established to assist students in obtaining financial support to continue their post-secondary education plans. The SEF Scholarship Program is available to all Solanco High School graduates who meet the established criteria. The scholarships are awarded to students who have shown through their work both in and out of the classroom that education will continue to play an important role in their lives after graduation. 1. Amount of scholarship: $1000 each 2. Application requirements: Completed application form. 3. Student Essay (300 word maximum) 4. Two letters of reference from teacher, coach, advisor, administrator or community member in support of the applicant s financial need and worthiness of the scholarship. 5. Solanco Education Foundation FUTURES Scholarship $1000 Scholarship will be awarded to students whose parents/guardians did not attend college, university or trade school. $1000 scholarship will be disbursed during the second semester of first year enrollment. Recipients achieving a GPA of 2.5 or higher during the first year may quality for a second-year $1000 scholarship, disburses during the second semester of the second year.

Requirements and Procedures: Solanco Fair Association Ag Scholarship 1. The recipient of the scholarship must be accepted and planning to enroll in an accredited postsecondary institution majoring in any area of the Agricultural Sciences or Family and Consumer Science. 2. The recipient must have demonstrated active participation in the Solanco Fair for at least three (3) of their four (4) years in high school. 3. The recipient must show qualities and traits of community and school involvement without regards to race, religion, sex, or financial aid. 4. Applications for the Solanco Fair Association Agricultural Scholarship must be filed with the Guidance Office by April 1. Solanco Field Hockey, Linda Day Scholarship 3 @ $200 The scholarships are to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipients: 1. Participated in field hockey in grades 9 12. 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Financial need. 4. The applicant may or may not choose to play field hockey after graduation. 5. 2.5 GPA or higher Methods of awarding the scholarship: 1. In the event the recipient discontinues their education during the first semester, all money will be returned to the said scholarship fund. 2. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a teacher committee. Solanco Football Association Scholarship 4 @ $250 Scholarship award selection criteria: 1. Must be accepted at a post secondary education institution. (college, jr. college, community college, technical or trade school, etc.) 2. Participated in the Varsity Football Program. 3. Have good character, leadership, and moral standards

Solanco Girls Softball Association Scholarship 4 @ $250 This scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors living within the Solanco School District to be used for the educational expenses associated with post secondary education. 1. Participated with the Solanco Girls Softball Association a minimum of three (3) complete seasons. 2. Good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Must be accepted at a post secondary educational institution (college, junior college, community college, technical or trade school). Solanco High School Scholarship 1 @ $100 1. This award is to be given to a student in the graduating class of Solanco High School who has attended Solanco High School for a minimum of two full years. 2. The award must be used towards educational expenses during the first year of enrollment in an accredited post secondary institution, whether it is a 4 year college, 2 year college, or trade school. 3. This award would be presented on Senior Awards Night each year by the Solanco High School Principal. 4. The recipient for the award would be selected by a committee consisting of the Principal of Solanco High School and a High School Guidance Counselor. The following criteria would be utilized in selecting students for this award: 1. Must show qualities and traits of community and school involvement without regard to race, religion, sex, or financial need. 2. Personal interview with the scholarship/screening committee. 3. Must submit 3 written recommendations from teachers/administrators, employers, clergy, community leaders, etc. (excluding any relatives) Solanco Midget Football Association Scholarship 4 @ $500 Four scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors for payment of educational expenses in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. This scholarship will be awarded to the four seniors who best meet the following conditions: 1. Must have participated in at least three complete seasons as a Solanco Midget Football Player. 2. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 3. Activities in school and community. 4. Excel in high school football 5. Class standing and scholastic ability (recipient should have average standing or better).

Solanco Music Boosters Association Scholarship 2 @ $500 Two scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors. The scholarship awarded is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipients: 1. Outstanding participant in marching band, concert band, orchestra, mixed chorus, or chorale during the four year period of high school attendance. 2. Good character, leadership, and moral standards. 3. Financial need may be considered. 4. Student may further his/her education in a non-music field. Solanco Youth Basketball Scholarship 2 @ $500 Two scholarships shall be awarded to two graduating seniors (one male and one female recipient). The scholarships awarded are to be used for educational expenses (including tuition and other necessary educational expenses) incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education (trade school, college or university) as part of a two or four year degree program. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution. The recipients for the award will be selected by a committee consisting of the high school athletic director, guidance counselor, and one or more Solanco Youth Basketball board representatives. The following criteria will be used in selecting the scholarship recipients: 1. Student s past participation in Solanco Youth Basketball 2. Class standing and scholastic ability (average standing or better) 3. Good character, leadership, and moral standards 4. Involvement in school and community activities 5. Must submit, with completed application, a 300 word or less written response to the question: How did your experience with Solanco Youth Basketball contribute to your success as a student? Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce Business Award The award will be presented to a Solanco student satisfying the following selection criteria: 1. Member of the current graduating class of Solanco High School. 2. The guidance department will review applications for accuracy and forward all qualifying applications to the Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce (SLCCC). A committee formed from SLCCC members will select the recipient for the award. 3. The award selection committee will use the following criteria in selecting the recipient: a. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better. b. Current resume c. Leadership skills as shown by being involved in school, extracurricular or community activities. d. A student desiring to pursue a career in business e. Student must answer one of the questions in #4b below f.

Taddie Scholarship The recipient for the scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria: Required to have attended Solanco District schools in grades 1-12. Required to have attendance in the top 5% in grades 9-12. Required to have a grade point average of at least a B (or 3.0 based on 4.0 GPA) average in grades 9-12. Required to have participated in at least one sport each year in grades 9-12. Required to have participated in music or drama each year in grades 9-12. Required to have participated in at least one other co-curriculum or community activity in grades 9-12 Plans to attend at least four years of college. Absolute requirement that awardee is selected by the High School Principal and cannot be delegated or assigned to another. Preference should be given for student needing assistance. If all criteria are not met, scholarship is not awarded that school year. Kathryn Wagner Memorial Scholarship 1 @ $1000 A Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior. The scholarship is to be used for payment of educational expenses during the first year of education in an accredited educational institution of higher learning. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient(s). 1. Class standing and scholastic ability (average standing) 2. Good character and moral standards 3. Willow Run Veterinary Clinic Scholarship 1 @ $2,000 A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior. The scholarship will be disbursed for the payment of educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Student pursuing a degree in agriculture, veterinary medical science or horticulture. 2. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 3. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. 4. Student with limited financial resources or a family where the primary income is farming, agriculture or horticulture. Brittany Lynne Wrigley Memorial Scholarship A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco High School senior. The scholarship will be disbursed for the payment of educational expenses incurred during the first year of enrollment at an accredited institution for higher education as part of a two or four year degree program. The following criteria will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient. 1. Student with average or better class standing and scholastic ability. 2. Student with good character, leadership and moral standards. 3. Student involved in school or community activities. 4. Student with limited financial resources. Youth Education Association (YEA) Scholarship 1 @ $100 Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate the following criteria: 1. A senior student, male or female 2. Student must possess good citizenship and character 3. Student must be planning to enroll in college to major in education 4. Student must possess average grades or better 5. Student must be an active member of Y.E.A.
