Specialist Supported Living! Provides a standard of excellence in care to people with complex needs including: complex behaviour complex health complex support needs relating to ageing! Services are provided in contemporary forms of specialist supported living accommodation models and respite services.! These services support the principles of the Disability Services Act 1993 (the DSA) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (the UN Convention).

Specialist Supported Living - Complex Ageing Casuarina Grove! Developed out of closure of Peat Island Centre in October 2010.! State-wide service specialising in aged care located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast.! Casuarina Grove provides 99 supported accommodation places and one respite place across ten houses.
Specialist Supported Living Complex Behaviour Norton Road! Developed from the closure of the Lachlan Centre in December 2010.! The state-wide service is located at North Ryde is configured in a cluster of 10 x five bedroom group homes.
Specialist Supported Living Complex Health The Complex Health Network offers specialist disability health care including: 1.Permanent supported accommodation service for adults Four regional group homes Two x 10 bedroom state-wide group homes 2.Short term planned centre based respite care for adults and children

Ongoing training programs for entry level staff! Improved relationships and ongoing agreements with student nurse training organisations
Vision for the future! Services of excellence.! Nursing staff with skills, knowledge, experience, desire and motivation to work in these complex areas and promote their abilities across the disability service system.! Solid and respected relationships with other providers.! Able to provide a consultant service to nursing and non nursing group home staff and managers in the areas of specialty for ADHC and the sector.! SSLs having a reputation for resolving support need issues for people and then these people being able to transition to less restrictive accommodation models.
