August 2 nd Sgt. McElroy represented the PHPD at the NATW National Night Out Kickoff Event at Eakins Oval in Philadelphia. August 3 rd and 10 th - Officers joined the Boy Scouts of America Summer Camp for with K9 Duke demonstrations, vehicle displays and equipment displays. August 7 th All members participated in the National Night Out event at Overbrook High School. August 9 th Officers joined the members of the Pine Hill Sikh Gurdwara for their annual youth camp. K9 Duke and I participated in five community policing demonstrations at the John Glenn School Summer Enrichment Camp, the Pine Hill Boy Scout Reservation, National Night Out, and at the Sikh Gurdwara.
