Private Care Services ONE CALL. HOME CARE FOR LIFE.

Private Care Services Caring for an elderly, seriously ill or disabled loved one who requires constant support and supervision can be emotionally, physically and spiritually exhausting. Even the most devoted caregiver needs a helping hand and respite time. That s why many turn to Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey (VNA). VNA can provide comprehensive care to ensure that all client and caregiver needs are met. When you choose VNA, you are choosing A comprehensive home health care organization capable of meeting all current and future needs with certified home health aides, registered nurses, physical and occu pational therapists, speech and language pathologists, dietician and social worker services, hospice care and other services. A highly respected agency with more than 117 years of experience. One of the state s leading providers based upon patient outcomes. An agency that consistently earns nearly perfect client satisfaction ratings in independent research surveys.

Although caring for a loved one at home is becoming increasingly commonplace, every family s household circumstances are different. Our Private Care services program accommodates diverse lifestyles and resource levels by offering services tailored to meet your needs for as little as a few hours a week or on a full-time, live-in basis. VNA aides provide companionship and encouragement along with personal care assistance. All VNA Private Care clients receive In-home evaluation and consultation with a registered nurse who creates an individualized care plan, and provides on-going supervision of your aide. A Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) who has completed a comprehensive training program, obtained state licensure and successfully passed thorough background and reference checks. A CHHA trained in attending to any specific needs and challenges including incontinence, catheter and ostomy care, as well as cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer s and other medical conditions.

Flexible scheduling of aide hours based upon your needs and preferences. Access to coordinated care provided by additional VNA professionals whenever needed. Options tailored to meet your needs Hourly assistance Are you in need of a time out from the stress of being a primary caregiver or a few hours each week to run errands outside the home? Or, perhaps a loved one requires assistance with grooming and housekeeping tasks or simply longs for companionship and a break from the isolation of being homebound. Caregivers who reach out to VNA for support are afforded the peace of mind to take worryfree respites. VNA can provide a caring CHHA two or more hours per day for one to seven days each week. A visiting nurse and a private care representative will work with you to prioritize your needs and create a plan consistent with your requirements and resources.

VNA Private Care professionals help clients enjoy their best possible quality of life. Live-in assistance Do you need full-time assistance caring for a loved one while you re at work, parenting or attending to other day-to-day activities? Or, perhaps a parent or other elderly relative wants to remain in the comfort and dignity of their long-time residence but is no longer capable of being alone safely. VNA can provide full-time, live-in care. Under the supervision of a registered nurse who will establish a care plan and provide training and supervision, a certified home health aide will perform day-to-day tasks and provide companionship. To qualify for live-in services, you must be able to provide room, board and meals. A helping hand is just a phone call away Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey has devoted more than a century to delivering essential services and encouragement to those who are homebound due to advanced age, illness, injury or disability.
