Prepared military history speeches for presentation by the US Army War College Commandant. Led historical tours of Gettysburg National Battlefield. Provided timely, independent, pragmatic assessments and editorial review on numerous articles and study efforts by other U.S. Army War College faculty. Recommended and implemented changes to core curricula. 4 As Departmental Academic Counselor, advised students on academic development and career decision-making; increased the number of students selecting history as their major while simultaneously decreasing student complaints. Encouraged and facilitated broader use of information technologies by faculty advisors, course directors, counselors, and instructors. INSTRUCTIONAL RELATED EXPERIENCE U.S. Army Concepts Analysis Agency, Bethesda, MD Analyst and Study Director, ( ). Managed and directed the research and analytical efforts of nine operations and logistics analysts; coordinated multiple study activities. Prepared and presented automation and simulation training and instruction. Produced and presented multi-media in-progress and final-results study briefings. Wrote study documentation. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bad Kreuznach, Germany Staff Manager ( ). Conceived, developed, and managed the training program for individuals involved in the umpire control system for the first ever large-scale military exercise to mix actual troop exercises with computer simulation. Developed and supervised the professional development program for senior executive staff; facilitated graduate-level seminar instruction on historical subjects.
