4 Natasha Venter obtained a B.Sc Dietetics degree from the North West University in During her studies she was awarded with a Golden Key National Honour Society Membership, in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence. She has worked in the public sector as a clinical Dietitian, worked extensively in the field of HIV/AIDS as part of a dynamic and up-coming NGO, and currently owns a part-time private practice. She has a special interest in the treatment of chronic diseases of lifestyle such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolaemia and Coronary Heart Disease as well as the treatment of gastro intestinal disorders. She believes that prevention is better than cure and helps patients to develop a healthier lifestyle. 9 Annemarie Davis Portfolio: PPD Annemarie Davis is a registered Dietitian with a B.Sc degree in Dietetics (UFS) M.Sc degree in Nutrition (US). She has 3 years experience in the private sector and 13 years experience in the public sector, where she did clinical, as well as managerial work. She headed the implementation of Kangaroo Mother Care in Mpumalanga as part of a research project by the MRC s Unit for Maternal and Infant Care Strategies.
