15 Proposed Internal Transfer ApplicaDon Process Current TCNJ students are welcome to apply to enter the new Public Health major in the fall of 2016 for matriculacon in the spring of 2017 semester. Academic standards for applicadon to transfer into the Public Health Major: Applicants must be in good academic standing at TCNJ with a minimum cumulacve GPA of 2.75 at the Cme of applicacon. Applicants must have completed at least two of the following Public Health foundacon courses and achieve the minimum grade for each as indicated in parentheses: ANT/PBH 240 Epidemiology (B- ) or ANT/SOC PBH 373 Public Health and Social Policy (B- ) or NUR 220 Wellness PromoCon (B- ) STA 115 StaCsCcs (B- ) or STA 215 StaCsCcs (C+)
16 Proposed Internal Transfer ApplicaDon Process In addicon to meecng academic criteria, all student applicacons must include a completed applicadon form (available fall 2016 at TCNJ Public Health web site) with the following documentacon: Unofficial transcript (once spring semester grades are available) Two (2) levers of recommendadon (faculty or dean) One page essay explaining applicant s interest Public Health Completed change of major form from Records and RegistraDon ApplicaDons are due axer grades are posted for the fall 2016 semester, but no later than Dec. 1, Only compete applicacons will be considered.
