2 Ladies and Gentlemen, We would like to invite you to take part in the first International Scientific Conference Intercultural Medical Care as a Challenge for Interdisciplinary Team which will take place on the 19 th and 20 th of May, 2017 in Poznan in the Conference and Teaching Center of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. During the Conference, the best experts from Poland and other countries will give lectures and presentations. We want the scientific programme to fully show the everyday character of working with intercultural patients. Due to this fact, we hope that you will take part in discussions which will help to present various experiences with intercultural medical care in Poland and other countries and thanks to that, implement good practice in our country. The Conference is directed to physicians, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, paramedics, pharmacists, dieticians, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare assistants, social workers, government departments workers, lawyers, counsellors, bioethicists, psychologists, psychotherapists, sociologists and all of the other people whose work is connected with the subject of our event. Students session experiences concerning providing care for intercultural patients PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE: Every person who would like to participate in the event needs to fill in the registration form, which can be found at and also discharge the registration payment on-time. 4 WYSTĄPIENIE/ZGŁOSZENIE STRESZCZENIA: Participants interested in making a presentation (within the limits of given sessions) during the Conference are asked to fill in the registration form, mark chosen type of participation and discharge the registration payment on-time. The mentioned form is on the website The abstracts in Polish and English (editorial requirements as in the following pattern published in this announcement Enclosure no. 1) must be sent until the 31 st of March, The organizers anticipate publishing the works by the Scientific Committee as an e-book. 5 ATTACHMENT NO. 1 SUBMISSION OF THE PRESENTATIONS GIVEN DURING CONFERENCE The work s abstract should be prepared in Polish and English as in the following pattern. It. The presentation must be sent until the 31 st of March, 2017 on address transkulturowosc@gmail.com. Name and surname of every author of the work (first letters of names) with underlined name of presenting author. For every work s author a full affiliation must be given. Full contact data of the author to whom the correspondence should be sent. The title of presentation. The srtucture of a main part: introduction / objective / materials and method / results / conclusion. Key words: maximum 5. A Polish and English version is required. Amount of words: maximum 350; Type: Times New Roman, 11 font size (main text); margins 2,5cm. The file with abstract should be sent in *.docx or *.doc.
