Reed in Partnership Youth Employment Skills (YES) pre-employment training for year-old ers who are of black, mixed, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Arab, Gypsy or Irish Traveler ethnicity or have experienced issues with mental health, drugs/alcohol or homelessness. Trainees have their own adviser, a personal training and support plan and receive financial support for travel, work clothes and childcare. Details at Wandle Young Inspectors is a paid role open to any 16 to 25 year-old who lives in a South Wandle home. The job is to make sure Wandle is addressing the needs of their young residents. The commitment is 10 hours for the initial training, followed by a maximum of 3 hours per week for 3 months. 9 UCAS Career Finder European Opportunities European Youth Portal (from the European Union) is a website dedicated to information and opportunities for young people including jobs, entrepreneurship, traineeships and holiday work at European Volunteering Database (from the European Union) includes the European Voluntary Service for those aged between 17 and 30 and willing to spend from 2 weeks to 12 months abroad as a volunteer. Projects last from 2 weeks to 12 months, and volunteers work in a wide range of fields, such as culture, youth, sports, children, cultural heritage, arts, animal welfare, environment and development cooperation. Volunteers receive free accommodation, food, insurance and pocket money. Details at
