3 Visit our website Chairman message 2017 seems to have sped past us, filled with expectations and high hopes, which may not have travelled at the same pace. Improved relations between Khartoum and Washington, yielding to the partial lifting of U.S. Sanctions, were tangible steps in the right direction. We remain optimistic and look forward to positive impacts for Sudan, the Private Sector, Civil Society, Health and Education, coupled with a whole range of other fields and activities, in the hope that benefit will come to the disenfranchised and those in need. These are areas where our Group of Companies and Haggar Foundation dedicate their efforts to make a real difference. A Helping Hand and Dream, Deliver, Share our Mottos, continue to propel us, wherever and whenever possible. We have had a name change, Haggar Trading DMCC has become Haggar DMCC headquartered in Dubai, and from where the group manages its various investments across Africa. We remain concerned with the situation in the Republic of South Sudan, where our fellow citizens continue to suffer enormously and so much needs to be done, urgently. Our senior management continues to seek out new projects, in defined areas and several potentially interesting opportunities are under review. Once again, I would want to pay tribute to our remarkable team of young men and women, throughout the Group of companies, for their dedication and full commitment to their work, our traditions and to our Code of Conduct. As I near my retirement, after more than fifty years in the family business, I am confident that the Group is in very good hands and, God willing, will go from strength to strength. About us 1 Haggar DMCC is the regional headquarters of Haggar Group, established in South Sudan in 1904 and present today in 8 sectors across 6 countries in Africa. HAGGAR DMCC continues to look for opportunities to invest and develop the private sector across Africa.

4 Group history 2 Mikhail Haggar registered the first Haggar business in Juba, South Sudan. George Mikhail Haggar diversified into tobacco cultivation and cigarette manufacture together with soap production and gold mining. Anis G. Haggar and Taha Ali El-Bashir joined the family business. They established new cigarettes factory in Khartoum followed by plastics and Styrofoam production facilities. Continued investment on the development of the Tobacco business through increased production capacity and product range. Celebrated the 100 Year Mark and continued on the diversification via further acquisitions, acquiring Coldair Engineer Company. Acquired stake in Juba Insurance Company. Sold the Tobacco business and ventured once again into Agriculture sector via investments in GLB s 1960 s s 1950 s 1970 s 1990 s George Mikhail Haggar settled in South Sudan establishing tea and coffee plantations in Equatoria. Continued to expand and introduced out-grower farming for coffee and tobacco. Group operations re-instated in 1973 following signature of Addis Ababa Peace Agreement in An advertising agency, farming, and beef exports were established. George A. Haggar and Anthony A. Haggar joined the family business. Start of acquisitions and green fields operations starting with the acquisition of Pasgianos Food & Beverage Company. Established Dynamic International Oil Well Services, Sudasat, and Haggar Limited.

8 EAST AFRICA REGION Sudan GLB Invest is developing one of the largest center-pivot irrigated alfalfa farms in Sudan. The journey began in July 2011 when the company secured 87,200 hectares of land in the Wad Hamid area under a 99-year renewable lease from the Sudanese government. Our group subsidiaries 5 The land is strategically located 7km from the Nile River, 130km from Khartoum and 700km from Port Sudan, the gateway to the target markets of the KSA, the UAE and China.

9 EAST AFRICA REGION Sudan DYNAMIC International Oil Well Services is Sudan's leading national oilfield services company, supplying solutions and integrated project management that optimize drilling and production performance for customers working in the oil and gas industry. Our group subsidiaries 5 Founded in 2006 by Haggar, the company offers the industry's most complete line of drilling tools and services, as well as the most advanced technology of cementing equipment and down hole tools.

10 EAST AFRICA REGION Sudan SUDASAT is the largest provider of VSAT services throughout Sudan, providing voice and data connectivity to institutions, companies and individuals across the country. SUDASAT has 8 transponders on ARABSAT, Badr 6 providing C-band coverage across Sudan and a customer base that spans multinationals, telecom operators, government organizations and development agencies Our group subsidiaries 5

11 EAST AFRICA REGION Sudan Established in the 1920 s, Pasgianos Food and Beverages was the first soft drink to be bottled in Sudan. It started in 1937 with Mr. G. W Pasgianos In 1961, the Company production plant was registered as a production facility with the ministry of industry. In 1999, the company was acquired by Haggar Group. Our group subsidiaries 5 Since its acquisition, the Company has invested in capacity and continues to provide unique national flavours to the carbonated soft drink market.

14 EAST AFRICA REGION South Sudan SEDCO (Sanctuary Estate Development Company) is a real estate company founded in 2014, owning and managing residential buildings with furnished flats to rent, that range from studios to larger apartments. IVORY BANK was founded to be the leading bank in South Sudan and is working to build its competencies and capabilities to secure a leading role in the sector. Our group subsidiaries 5

15 WEST AFRICA REGION Senegal Ghana Nigeria Established in 2013 in Dubai UAE as an African communications carrier, Dolphin specializes in Wholesale Capacity and Internet Bandwidth for Carriers, ISPs and Enterprise customers. Dolphin aims to be a driving force for the business community of West Africa functioning as a catalyst in extending global reach, high quality connectivity and reliable levels of connectivity. Our group subsidiaries 5 With over 60 million US$ investment in the ACE Submarine cable, Dolphin offers full right of landing in Dakar, Accra and Lagos covering 80% of West African market population

16 Corporate Sustainability 6 & Social Impact (CSI) The approach of HAGGAR DMCC to CSI is based on the belief that our businesses have responsibilities to society that extend beyond their obligations to stockholders and making a profit. There needs to be a balance between the need to be profitable and the impact the different businesses have on the societies in which they operate and the people with whom they employ directly and indirectly. To this end, 2.5% of each operating company s Net Profit is spent on CSI initiatives and 16% of HAGGAR DMCC Dividends are allocated to Haggar Foundation that focuses on clean water and education initiatives Under the vision of Let s work together in peace and harmony to build up new businesses that will be of benefit to us and most importantly to the countries and people we chose to invest in and work amongst Haggar s CSI has adopted 5 core CSI principles: Corporate Governance Fair Operations Practices Environment Community Involvement and Development Labor Practices
