2 CAPEFOXHERITAGEFOUNDATION EUGENETROUTSCHOLARSHIPPROGRAMPOLICYGUIDELINES TheCapeFoxHeritageFoundation's(CFHF)EugeneTroutScholarshipProgramisopento CapeFoxCorporationshareholdersandtheirimmediatefamilies.Thispolicyandguideline statementhasbeenapprovedbythecfhfboardofdirectorsandshallbeimplementedas asupplementtothesealaskaheritagefoundationscholarshipprogrampoliciesand Guidelines. TheCFHFScholarshipProgramshallincludethefollowingcategories: 1.)FULLTIMESTUDENTatanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity: MustmaintainaGPAof2.0oraboveasanenteringorcontinuingstudent. Provideproofofenrollment(i.e.schooladmissionletter)inanaccredited degreeprogramasprovidedbytheschool. Providestudent'sfinancialbudgetforecast(financialneedsand resources). EnrolledfullVtime(takingaminimumof12credits);attendingatleasttwo termsduringtheacademicyear(septemberthroughaugust) MustmeettheapplicationdeadlineofMarch31ofeachacademicyear (Includesthefall,winter,springandsummersessions).Scholarship applicationmustbecompleteandpostmarkedbythedeadlinetobe eligible. 2.)PARTTIMESTUDENTatanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity: MustmaintainaGPAof2.0oraboveasanenteringorcontinuingstudent. MustmeettheapplicationdeadlineofMarch31ofeachacademicyear(includesthe fall,winter,springandsummersessions).scholarshipapplicationmustbecomplete andpostmarkedbythedeadlinetobeeligible. 3.)VOCVTECHSCHOLARSHIPisavailabletoapplicantswhoareinterestedinpursuing trainingthatresultsinacertificate(usuallynolongerthantwoyears)ora2vyear associatesprogramataqualifiedinstitution(seefollowingdefinition).thecertificate programshouldindicatethatthetraineehascompletedaqualifiedprogramthat

3 prepareshim/hertobeemployedinanentryvlevelskillpositionwithlimited supervision: Provideproofofenrollmentinaqualifiedprogramorschool. Provideoutlineoftotalcosts. Awardshallbeappliedtothecostoftheprogram(notincludingtransportation costs)andshallnotexceed $peryear. ApplicationdeadlinesforVocVTechScholarshipsareMarch31andAugust15ofeach year. DefinitionofQualifiedInstitution:aqualifiedinstitutionisthatwhichhasbeennationally accreditedorstateapproved;hasbeensuccessfullyoperatingforatleastoneyear;andhas adocumentedtrackrecordofsuccessfullyplacingtheirgraduatesintomeaningful employmentthatisdirectlyrelatedtothestudent'strainingprogram. VocVTechcourses,whichareconsideredfullVtime,shouldincludeaminimumof 30hoursperweekatatechnicalinstitutewhereshoporlabpracticeisanintegralpartof training.whereclassroominstructionpredominates,25hoursperweekisrequired.ifthe programistaughtinacollegeenvironment,12credithoursoritsequivalentisrequired.
