4 On the Move Guides Distribution Event Date: 1/06/2014 Dadeland South Metrorail Station Staff distributed over 1,200 pocket guides to transit riders from 6am - 9am. 2

5 Coconut Grove CAHSD Action Agency (CAA) Outreach Event Date: 4/6/2014 Frankie Shannon Rolle Center This was an event to inform CAA members about the upcoming 2040 LRTP meetings. 3

6 Naranja Community Action Agency (CAA) Outreach Event Date: 4/8/2013 Naranja CRA Building This was an event to inform CAA members about the upcoming 2040 LRTP meetings. 4

7 Miami Beach Community action Agency (CAA) Event Miami Date: 4/6/2014 Beach Community Service Center The committee allowed us to share transportation information with them as well as the distribution of the MPO Annual Report. There was also a follow-up discussion that included the CTAC agenda for the next meeting. 5

8 Naranja Plant/Leisure City CAA Meeting Date: 11/6/14 Betty T. Ferguson Center This open forum provided the community the opportunity to discuss with staff the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. 6

9 Gould s CAA Meeting Date: 12/10/14 Gould s Community Center This was an opportunity for staff to inform the community about the UPWP s Call for Ideas program. Members were able to take this information out to their churches, places of work, and the general community. 7

11 Employee Outreach Date: 1/5/2014 Jungle Island This was an event for Jungle Island employees. Staff was able to distribute the On the Move Guides in Spanish and Creole to the employees. The pocket guide was well received. 9

12 Employee Outreach Date: 7/17/2014 Jackson Memorial Hospital This was a great event that many employees attended and staff shared important MPO material with. 10

13 Employee Wellness Expo Date: 7/25/2014 Jackson Memorial Hospital South Everyone that staff spoke to at Jackson was satisfied with the transportation system in Miami-Dade County. Excellent service! 11

14 Employee Wellness Expo Date: 10/14/2014 Lowes Hotel This was a great employee benefit event. Employees received and shared important information with MPO staff. 12

15 Employee Outreach Date: 10/27/2014 Mandarin Oriental Hotel Staff was able to distribute MPO information, and also record some concerns about biking in the area. 13

16 Benefits Fair Date: 10/28/2014 Miami Jewish Home and Hospital Staff distributed MPO information to employees. Employees mainly drive in to work, and they didn't express any major transportation issues. 14

18 Transportation Fair Date: 2/20/14 University of Miami This was a well-attended event by students that participated in alternative transportation options. Staff was able to distribute a lot of material to the students, with the pocket guide being the main attraction. 16

19 Commuter Awareness Week Date: 4/8/2014 University of Miami This was a great event to reach out to students in the community and get their views on transportation in Miami- Dade County. 17

20 Earth Day Celebration Event Date: 4/22/2014 Barry University Campus Many students shared their need for a shuttle bus connecting Barry University to the Golden Glades Interchange. 18

21 Students Benefits Event Date: 9/10/14 Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus This turned out to be a great event. Overall the students were pleased with the transportation in Miami Dade County. 19

22 Put it Down Distracted Driving Campaign Date: 9/18/14 University of Miami This was a good event that staff was able to share MPO material and receive information on multiple transportation concerns and ideas. 20

23 Put it Down Distracted Driving Campaign Date: 9/22/14 Miami-Dade College Homestead Campus The MPO staff was able to distribute MPO material to the students and faculty. There was concern about congestion along SE 8th Street and inquiries about the Metrorail tracker application. 21

24 Safety Fair Date: 10/6/14 InterAmerican Campus Staff was able to distribute information to the students and faculty. 22

25 Safety Fair Date: 10/9/14 Barry University There were a lot of students that were interested in expanding bus transportation from the Golden Glades Interchange to the campus. 23

26 Student Safety Awareness Campaign Event Date: 10/09/14 FIU South Campus This event was well attended. Staff was able to interact and distribute a lot of MPO information. 24

27 Halloween Horror Story Event Date: 10/29/14 FIU South Campus This was a great location to get feedback from the students on transportation. Many of the Students seemed pretty please with transportation in Miami-Dade County. They would like to see Metrorail connect to the campus. 25

28 Put it Down Distracted Driving Campaign Date: 11/05/14 Miami-Dade College North Campus This was a great location to get feedback from the students on transportation. 26

29 World Aids Day Date: 12/1/14 Miami-Dade College Homestead Campus This event was well attended by high school students. There was some concerns about bus route 104 running late, but overall this was a good event. Staff was able to distribute information about the MPO and give students insight on what the MPO was doing to make transportation better. 27
