Land Readiness ATR Designa;on Lease Permit A parcel of land that is added to the exis>ng reserve land, or that creates a new reserve Enables Canada to fulfill legal obliga>ons established by specific claim Can increase community and economic development Designate reserve lands for specific purposes (commercial; industrial) Allows a business partner to temporarily operate on a specified por>on of the reserve FUNDING SUPPORT AVAILABLE The rental of reserve land to a non-band member or a company (including a First Na>on corpora>on) for business development Grants exclusive use of land for a fixed period of >me Allow nonmembers to use reserve lands in a limited (nonexclusive) way for a specific period of >me. Use ranges fr: removal of clay, sand, gravel, non-metals, fallen >mber all the way to access, u>lity services, & grazing/ag-use permits
