1 A QUICK GUIDE TO MARIE CURIE ACTIONS 2010 LURIS: Leiden University Research and Innovation Services (LURIS) version
2 This LURIS - quick guide to Marie Curie Actions takes you through all the possibilities, highlighting the main elements of the fellowships for the year If you are planning to make applications always check the official work programme and guide for applicants from the official CORDIS site. General information on mobility and nationality work programma 2010 Mobility: at the time of the relevant deadline for submission of proposals, or selection by the host organisation, depending on the action, researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Short stays, such as holidays, are not taken into account. As far as international European interest organisations or international organisations are concerned, this rule does not apply to the hosting of eligible researchers, however the appointed researcher must not have spent more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference deadline for submission of proposals or selection by the host organisation, depending on the action, in the same appointing organisation. Leiden University provides this manual as tool without assuming any warranty or responsibility. The manual aims to provide a brief general overview of Marie Curie actions, as available under FP7. The manual is in no way exhaustive and the contents will affected by changes made by the European Commission. Although Leiden University attempts to provide an up to date manual, the use of manual takes place on the users own risk. Using it does not release users from (legal) examination of the relevant source materials to cover their interests and protect their rights. 1
