Through the office a variety of services are provided to MD-7 clubs to help further the goals and objectives of the Lions organization. 16 JOHN H. BARNETT LEADERSHIP AWARD WINNERS The Lions of Arkansas Council of Governors created the Barnett Leadership Award in The award is to honor the memory of Past Council Chair John H. Barnett from England, Arkansas. Lion Barnett served as MD7 Council Chair in and District Governor from and a New Club Consultant Lions Clubs International from PCC Barnett exemplified leadership as he served his fellow man. The award is presented at the Banquet associated with the MD7 State Convention each year. The purpose of the award is to honor the memory of PCC Barnett and to recognize an Arkansas Lion who has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability at any level of Lionism: Club, District, Multiple District or International Community leadership is also to be included in the consideration for this award WANDA BARNETT EARL SEARS PIP DR.
