3 Judy Potgieter obtained a B.sc Dietetics degree from the North West University in She has worked in the public sector as a clinical Dietitian since 2010, as well as assisting in Food service management and the private sector. She has a passion for paediatric patients, especially premature babies. She is involved in the training of her facility for the Mother and baby friendly Hospital Initiative. 4 Natasha Venter obtained a B.Sc Dietetics degree from the North West University in During her studies she was awarded with a Golden Key National Honour Society Membership, in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence. She has worked in the public sector as a clinical Dietitian, worked extensively in the field of HIV/AIDS as part of a dynamic and up-coming NGO, and currently owns a part-time private practice. She recently took up road-cycling, and is a proud and dedicated mother to her 5-year old son and 3-year old twin girls. Natasha Venter Portfolio: Public Relations

5 Marlize Spangenberg completed her B.Sc degree in Dietetics in 2008 at the University of the Free State. She also holds an Emerging Management Development Programme certificate which she obtained from the University of Pretoria in conjunction with the Public Administration Leadership and Management Academy (PALAMA). She is working in the public sector as a clinical dietitian and is currently the head of the Dietitian Department at Ermelo Provincial Hospital. Marlize Spangenberg Portfolio: Communication

6 René Janse van Rensburg Portfolio: Membership René Janse van Rensburg is a qualified Dietitian from the University of Pretoria. She is certified in Magazine Journalism from SA s Writer s College (Cum Laude), being the writer of several published articles. She has worked as a clinical Dietitian in the public sector and as a private practicing Dietitian before she joined the corporate world as a Medical delegate for the leading infant nutrition company in South Africa. She holds a group fitness instructors qualification, winning numerous awards as top instructor. Her passion is engaging with people and advancing in medical science.

7 Anrie van Wyk Portfolio: Sponsorship Anrie van Wyk holds a B.Sc degree in Dietetics from the University of the Free State where she received a prize for the best community nutrition 4 th year student. She finished her community service year at Piet Retief Hospital in Mpumalanga in 2012, where she is currently working as a clinical and community Dietitian. She has recently started the South African Certified Lactation Consultant Course through the University of Witwatersrand.

8 Talita Olivier completed her degree in B Dietetics at the University of Pretoria. She has a special interest in the treatment of chronic diseases of lifestyle such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolaemia and Coronary Heart Disease as well as the treatment of gastro intestinal disorders. She believes that prevention is better than cure and helps patients to develop a healthier lifestyle. As Talita has a special interest in the dietary treatment of Diabetes, she completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes through the University of Glamorgan (UK) in She has been working in private practice since Talita Olivier Portfolio: Secretary

9 Annemarie Davis Portfolio: PPD Annemarie Davis is a registered Dietitian with a B.Sc degree in Dietetics (UFS) M.Sc degree in Nutrition (US). She has 3 years experience in the private sector and 13 years experience in the public sector, where she did clinical, as well as managerial work. She headed the implementation of Kangaroo Mother Care in Mpumalanga as part of a research project by the MRC s Unit for Maternal and Infant Care Strategies. She holds a certificate for Programme and Project Management in Public Development (WITS Business School) and is a qualified MBFI assessor. She is currently the owner of her own private practice.
