GENERAL CONTRACTING & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SINCE 1972
Our goal is to SIMPLIFY your CONSTRUCTION project and make it easier for you. It s a promise we make, and it s one we take seriously. We will work hard for you every day with this promise in mind.
Construction projects are a pain. We believe there s a better way to build. They re messy. Expensive. Complicated. Dangerous. Intrusive. Not to mention wasteful. Historically, construction projects are fraught with waste: wasted time, wasted money, wasted resources. That s the way it s always been. But that s not the way it has to be. We believe there s a better way to build, and we ve dedicated ourselves to creating it. Lean Construction philosophies, tools, and practices forged the path. The adoption and innovative use of technologies add efficiencies and transparency. An ethical, relationship-focused culture driven by our devotion to collaboration and communication keeps us on track. We call it: CONSTRUCTION SIMPLIFIED This is the way we work, and what all of us at Skiles Group strive to deliver -- every day, every client, every project. This is why we re here.
In a nutshell... The construction of a facility is the destination, but our primary focus is on the journey, working as your partner and advocate to create a trusted relationship. Skiles Group has provided general contracting and construction management services for over 45 years. Our experience encompasses a diversity of award-winning project types, including healthcare, faith-based, commercial, educational, industrial, and recreational facilities. Our client-centered culture is based on integrity and service, and this approach has contributed to more than four decades of stability, growth, and repeat business from loyal customers.
Experience Licensed in 10 states, our projects take us all over the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area, throughout Texas, and to other states across the country. Skiles Group specializes in the construction of healthcare facilities, and we ve built more than 200 healthcare projects over the past 10 years -- many for repeat clients across multiple campuses, such as...

People From the office, to the trailer, to the field, Skiles Group s staff pride themselves on three key attributes: friendliness, responsiveness, and flexibility. These qualities foster good relationships, which are the priority in our firm s culture. Their importance is emphasized across the organization and in all directions -- from the partnerships we nurture with our clients and trade partners, to the alliances we create with each other.
Processes Skiles Group s Lean Dashboard System creates predictable and reliable workflow in construction. It helps to manage the range of relationships, conversations, and commitments that successfully deliver a completed project.
Skiles Group s Pull Planning sessions clearly define and then sequence tasks, working backwards from their milestone dates, so that their completion releases subsequent work. Deadlines for labor, information, and materials are methodically planned based on the needs of downstream customers, creating a more deliberate and efficient workflow.
Skiles Group s True North meetings work to help us articulate and understand the project s, team s, and individual stakeholder s unique priorities, needs, ideals, and specific goals. This provides alignment, so that we are better able to move forward together in the same direction.
Technology Skiles Group s expansive use of technology, from the boardroom to the jobsite, facilitates communication, transparency, and responsiveness. These are essential to fluid collaboration, the timely sharing of information, and maintaining project schedules.
Safety 2017 WINNER WILLIS TOWERS WATSON / AGC CONSTRUCTION SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARD (CSEA) Skiles Group was named the first place winner in the Construction Management division for companies with under 150,000 annual work hours WINNER TEXO s CONSTRUCTION SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARDS COMPETITION Skiles Group was named the winner of the Construction Management division for companies with 105,000 hours worked. 8 YEARS + 590,258 TOTAL PRODUCTION MAN-HOURS WORKED WITHOUT A SINGLE REPORTABLE INJURY, ILLNESS, OR DEATH.
