2 About Us We are a Company operating since 2011 in the energy & environmental industries; formerly focusing in the provision of specialized equipment & materials for hydrocarbon spill containment, with special emphasis in the petroleum sector. As part of our commitment with the development of the country, in 2012 we launched a strong process for widening our entrepreneurial vision; therefore beginning a new phase in our operations & services, by offering maritime oil spill response maneuvers, including services in water bodies such as rivers and lagoons. In this way, we confirm our purpose which consists in offering the highest quality & excellence standards for the satisfaction of our customers; thus reinforcing the actions to prevent environmental damage and to preserve ecological balance as well as human health & safety.
3 INTRODUCTION Course for high-level government officials that provides a general vision of the oil spill, response, preparation, planning and management subjects. OBJETIVES To provide to the participants basic and strategic knowledge, and generate the required abilities in order to respond to hydrocarbon spill. A. Understand what an effective response organization is. B. Understand the consequences of oil spills. C. Interpretation of key subjects related to indemnity claims and liabilities. D. Understand operative limitations of the response strategies followed in oil spill incidents. G. Identify response operations and necessary resources. H. Response completion. I. Learn the importance of a contingency plan for oil spills. J. Protection of people in a response to oil spill. K. Perform the commander role in the incident. E. Understand functions and interfaces between government entities and industry. F. Understand juridical framework and international conventions.

Health and Safety management. Response strategies and limitations. Response completion. PROFILE OF ATTENDEES A. Managers and administrators responsible for command and effective control of a team for response to oil spills. B. High-level official of government entities involved in response to oil spills (environmental, coast guard, navy, army, finances, etc.) C. High-level directors and admiistrator with overall responsibility of crisis management in responses to oil spills. Environmental Impacts. Spill administration systems and management techniques D.
