Contaminated land management, health & saft ey, occupational hygiene, environmental monitoring and compliance are the plus of our services. Our consultants are experienced across a broad field of property risk services including loose fill asbestos insulation assessments, management plans and the demolition/ remediation project currently being undertaken in the ACT. Hazmat Plus is currently on both the ACT & NSW Governments asbestos assessor panels conducting asbestos assessments of loose fill asbestos impacted residential properties. Recently we have provided the ACT Governement pre-demolition asbestos surveys of houses and final soil validation testing of remediated residential blocks. We are closely aff iliated with laboratories accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) for asbestos air monitoring and asbestos bulk sample analysis and can provide quick and reliable laboratory analysis on all samples at cost effective rates. OUR PEOPLE LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU ON YOUR NEXT PROJECT The Director and Principal Consultant, Kynan Usback, has over 18 years experience in the construction and environmental industries in Australia and the United Kingdom. Kynan is originally from Dubbo in NSW and studied Environmental Science at The University of New England in Armidale NSW. He is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor and a Certified Professional Soil Scientist. Kynan has undertaken numerous training courses in the specialist fields of asbestos/ hazardous materials, occupational hygiene and contaminated land management. Being a hands on Director, has conducted 100 loose fill asbestos assessments in the ACT and 2000 loose fill insulation inspections in NSW. JOE FELTHAM BE(Eng) Our Principal Consultant, Joe Feltham, is a qualified Environmental Engineer with over 20 years environmental consulting experience in Australia and New Zealand. Joe is originally from Bathurst NSW and studied Environmental Engineering at Griff ith University in Brisbane. He is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor and has undertaken a significant number of loose fill asbestos projects in NSW and the ACT. Prior to joining Hazmat Plus, Joe worked in New Zealand on the Christchurch earthquake remediation works for Precise Consulting and for SLR Consulting in Australia. JASON BRENNAN BSc BSc (EnvFor) Jason Brennan is a Senior WHS&E consultant and is a qualified Environmental/ Forensic Scientist with over 6 years consulting experience. Originally from Sydney, he has a Masters in Environmental Science and was previously a University Tutor at UTS. Jason is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor. JOHN FURNARI Trade Qualified John Furnari is a WHS&E consultant who has two years consulting experience with construction based trade qualificatons and is on his way to gaining his Asbestos Assessors License. He is a WHS&E consultant who along with Jason is being trained by the Principals of Hazmat Plus to their high standards of quality and client service. John is originally from Ingham in North Queensland. DIANE USBACK B Com LLB (Hons) Diane is our off ice administrator and helps keep everything running smoothly.
