4 Job Descriptions Detail JD01 Senior Engineer Should have bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum experience of seven (7) years in the relevant field. At least five (5) years of his recent experience shall have been in responsible supervisory position relevant to his job assignment and shall be fluent in written and spoken English. JD02 Supervisor All Supervisors shall have a Bachelor s degree in engineering or equivalent in their respective fields and shall have a minimum of seven (7) years prior experience in the area of responsibility assigned and should be familiar in use of Personal Computer & SAP System. Shall have experience and ability in planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, instructing and supervising the maintenance or operation of all equipment and facilities under his responsibility. The Supervisors shall have through knowledge in design principle of the equipment and facilities under their control. The Supervisors shall be fluent in written and spoken English and have a have Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.lb assignment JD03 Engineers Should have bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum experience of seven (5) years in the relevant field. JD05 Draftsman Should be experienced in manual as well as CAD drawings of piping, mechanical, civil and electrical systems and components. Shall be able to develop piping and instrumentation diagrams, plans, sections, structural and mechanical details from basic engineering sketches. Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil and instrumentation symbols and drafting legends is essential. Minimum qualification and experience are a diploma/certificate in drafting and at least five (5) years industry experience. JD06 Planner, coordinator, controller Shall be graduates with at least five (5) years experience in the relevant field. Familiarity with office procedures and proficiency in computer usage are essential. Exposure to planning tools is desirable. JD07 Material Planner / Material coordinator Shall have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering with five years of experience as a Material Engineer or Material Coordinator, should be capable to handle Engineering materials of similar plants such as Wastewater, Potable water and Seawater Cooling, read and interpret equipment parts,

5 catalogues, material descriptions and make appropriate substitution when required. Dealing with maintenance and planning. He should be familiar with SAP PM & MM Module and fluent in English JD08 Technician (Instrumentation and control/scada/fire Alarm/Cathodic protection/metering) Shall have a diploma or vocational certificate in Instrumentation with at least five (5) years experience in the operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. At least three (3) years of his experience shall have been in the field of repairs and maintenance in the relevant field. He shall have good knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems, including control valves, alarms, fire alarms, flow meters, SCADA, DCS,PLC etc. JD09 Technician Mechanical/Fire Pump/Gensets Should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or vocational certificate in appropriate discipline and a minimum experience of five (5) years in mechanical maintenance of equipment's similar to those in large utility company or should have experience in large petrochemical/refinery. At least three (3) years of his experience shall have been in the field repairs, maintenance servicing and overhaul. He should have the experience in Operation of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and system. He shall be conversant with usage of measuring and testing instruments. JD10 Technician Electrical Should be a qualified from Technical School and have five (5) years experience as Electrical Technician in maintenance and operation of High and Low voltage electrical systems, Switchgears, Transformers, Motors and Diesel generators control circuits. He should have driving license. Knowledge of written and spoken English is essential. JD11 Technician Hydraulic He must technical school certified or equivalent and must have five (5) years experience as a hydraulic technician. He must have knowledge of written and spoken English. Hand on experience on hydraulic equipments such as forklift, boom trucks, mobile cranes, tanker, trailer and all other hydraulic auto mobile equipments essential. He shall perform routine, corrective, preventive and emergency maintenance of all types of hydraulic pumps, pipelines and equipments to ensure safe and efficient operation. He must be able to read operation manuals and records spare parts. JD12 Technician Surveying Should be a qualified from Technical School and have five (5) years relevant experience. He should have driving license. Knowledge of written and spoken English is essential. JD13 Analyst Lab Shall be a graduate in Chemistry with at least five (5) years experience in a large laboratory dealing with analysis of samples of potable water, wastewater, seawater or any other related field. He shall be well versed with the usage of various analyzers and equipment used in the chemical laboratories. He shall have good analytical ability and command over spoken and written English JD14 Senior Pump Station / Senior Network Operator / Senior Plant Operator Shall be at least a graduate of technical school or three year diploma holder or equivalent with minimum five (5) years work experience in operation of large pump stations, chlorination system, standby generators, fire pumps used in treatment, pumping and distribution of seawater, potable water and

6 wastewater systems. Shall perform simple corrective, preventive maintenance, lubrication and overhaul of the equipments, housekeeping and cleaning. He should be proficient in English, both written and spoken, and capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings. JD15 Diver Shall have competent training and experience in underwater activities and maintenance work. He shall have thorough knowledge of the tools and equipments connected with scuba diving. He shall have had a minimum of six (6) years experience, and hold an approved current diver's certificate JD16 Auto Mechanical (Petrol/ Diesel) Should be technical school certified or equivalent with formalized and practical training in a qualified fuel mechanic shop. He must have five (5) years experience as a qualified mechanic in petrol/diesel work shop. He must have knowledge of written and spoken English. Responsible for repair of auto mobile heavy equipment such as petrol/diesel cars, trucks, generator sets, cranes, and other mobile equipments, He shall perform routine, corrective, preventive and emergency maintenance of the equipments to ensure safe and efficient work in garage. He must be able maintaining manuals and records of spare parts. JD17 Auto Electrician Shall have a diploma in Electrical/Automobile Engineering or vocational certificate in Auto- Electrical trade with at least seven (7) years experience in maintenance of automobiles. Shall have good knowledge of electrical systems of various types of vehicles, equipments and be able to trouble shoot and rectify problems. JD18 Welder He must be High School Graduate or Trade School in Welding Technology with both practical and formal training. Must be a journeyman certified welder for at least five (5) years. Familiar with different types of welding including TIG, MIG, Shielded Arc, AC Stick, DC (reversed and straight polarity) and gas. Knowledge of written and spoken English essential. Perform all welding job to all type of metals in the shop or for plant equipment. Fabricate all metal work (including cutting, grinding, rolling, bending metal sheet, pipe angles, etc.) to required size and shapes. Perform necessary grinding and weld cleanup after completion of the job. Assist in the familiarization of other maintenance personnel in welding techniques and practices. JD19 Fabricator He must be High School Graduate or equivalent with formalized and practical training in fabrication shop work. At least five (5) years working experience as a fabricator with a utility company or heavy industries. He should have experience in fabrication of pipe lines, pipe network and other maintenance fabrication items. He should have ability to instruct other personnel like welder, machinist, etc. Knowledge of written and spoken English is essential. He must be able to read operation manuals and record spare parts. JD20 Heavy Equipment Operator Should have a license of specified equipment with minimum three (3) years experience. The heavy equipment operator shall include the following: Gantry Crane Operators, Mobile Crane Operators, Loader Operators, Dump truck Operators, Backhoe Operators,

7 JD21 Technician FRP Should be high school certified and should have practical training in Fiber glass fabrication and repairing works, At least five (5) years work experience as a fiber glass technician. He should have experience in fiber glass fabrication and in repairing FRP and RTR pipe etc. He should identify the fiber glass materials and resin and other chemicals using in FRP fabrication work. Knowledge of written and spoken English is essential. JD22 Technician Asphalting He must be high school certified with hands on experience in asphalting work. At least five (5) years experience is required as an Asphalting Technician. He should identify the asphalt materials and other chemicals using in asphalting work. Knowledge of written and spoken English. He shall perform preventive maintenance lubrication and overhaul of the equipments used for asphalting. He should able to read operation manuals and road safety. JD23 Tool room keeper/store Keeper Should be High School Graduate or equivalent at least five (5) years working relevant experience He must be able to read operation manuals and record spare parts. His knowledge of written and spoken English essential. He should have knowledge of tools and spare parts. JD24 Machinist Should be a high School Graduate or equivalent with formalized and practical training in machine shop work. At least five (5) years working experience. His ability to instruct other personnel in machine shop practices and skills. His knowledge of written and spoken English essential. Shall operate machines in the work shop and field in a safe and efficient manner. Operate lathe, boring, drill presses, shapers, grinders, milling machine etc., in making field and shop repairs, reconditioning of or altering equipment in order to make it operate more efficiently or safely. Perform corrective, preventive maintenance, lubrication and overhaul of the equipments. JD25 Plumber/Mason/Painter/Auto painter/carpenter/steel fixer/scaffolder/rigger/sand Blaster Should have Five (5) years relevant and knowledge of written and spoken English JD26 Tanker driver Should have at least three (3) years experience in operation of tankers. He shall be able to perform minor maintenance for the equipment he is operating. All equipment drivers shall have valid Saudi Arabian Driver licenses to operate the truck fill equipment. JD27 Admin Assistant Should be college graduates and have through knowledge of administrative procedures and personal functions. The admin assistant must have five (5) years work experience in administration/personnel department of large and reputable organizations JD28 Control Room Operator / Helpdesk Operator Shall be a three (3) years diploma holder in Electrical/Instrumentation with about five (5) years experience. He should have worked for at least 2 years in a modern control room of a process industry with computerized systems, PLC/DCS and SCADA systems. He should be capable of feeding data into computer and interpreting displays. Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.

8 JD29 Device Reader Shall be high school graduate with at least five (5) years and three (3) years experience respectively in reading water and electric meters. The candidate should be fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English. Preference shall be given to candidates with knowledge of SCADA based system and computer applications JD30 Sample Collector Should have a high school or technical school diploma. He should have minimum o f one (1) year experience in a chemical or water utility laboratory and must be able to collect samples and able to identify hazardous industrial waste. He must have a valid Saudi vehicle driving license. He should be literate in the English language. JD31 Operator / Plant Operator / Network Operator Shall be at least a diploma holder in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering. Minimum of five (3) years actual operation experience required in seawater pump station or desalination plant or wastewater treatment plant or chemical conditioning plant or potable water/ wastewater distribution network other similar type of plants and processes. Shall perform simple corrective, preventive maintenance, lubrication and overhaul of the equipments, housekeeping and cleaning. The candidate should be able to understand and speak English. JD32 Inspector System/Inspector Network Shall be a three (3) years diploma holder in Mechanical/Civil discipline with at least five (5) years experience in similar job. He should have experience in a water distribution network/open channel irrigation system with sluice gates/valves, etc. A high degree of alertness and ability to communicate effectively are essential. JD33 Inspector Safety Shall be a graduate or diploma holder with certificate in fire and safety from a recognized institute with at least five (5) years experience in the field of fire and safety. Good knowledge of safety procedures, risk and hazard analysis, and other safety related activities essential. Command of spoken and written English is also is required JD34 Driver He shall have 3 years experience with valid Saudi Arabian Driving license with 3 stamps for driving heavy duty vehicles. JD35 Labor He shall be a literate with ability to understand instructions. Shall be in the age group of 20 to 40 years with good health and physical fitness and capable of continued physical exertion. JD36 Encroachment Permit Inspector BASIC FUNCTION: Encroachment Permit Inspector Review and evaluate Encroachment Permit request documents as per the procedure prior to issuing the permit. Review the proposal drawings in accordance to the As-built drawing of water services network to protect the existing utilities. Logging of encroachment permits and maintaining record for issued permits and closed permits.

9 Conducting site inspection and site survey to identify the existing utilities. Develop Hold Points & Special Condition as required to protect the existing piping network and structures at site. Follow up the permits for implementation of Hold Points. Perform assigned and related duties & responsibilities as required and report to Section Head. Coordination with other departments. SCOPE: Encroachment Permit Inspector The scope includes receiving of the encroachment permit requests from customer, review, log and process in accordance to the Encroachment Permit Procedure. Study of as-built drawings of piping network and other structures in the area of permit and review the proposal as submitted in the encroachment permit request and shall prepare hold points and special condition and protection plan for the safety of the utilities. All permits shall be recorded in a log sheet and maintained status of issuing and closing. Shall report to the Lead Engineer (Inspections) and take instructions and coordinate for smooth process of the permits. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Encroachment Permit Inspector Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Shall have engineering background with sound experience of drawings study and network knowledge. Thorough knowledge of standards and construction practices, procedures. Knowledge of basic principles and practices of civil and mechanical engineering. Computer literate. Good knowledge of English and must express and communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Driving license. FIRE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT (SUPPORT SERVICES) Job description for fire system Engineer. A graduate in electrical or instrumentation engineering. Minimum of three to four year experience in the field of fire Alarm installation/trouble shooting/repair and maintenance preferably in major industrial organizations. Should have sufficient back ground for installing/trouble shooting of all types of fire protection system. Well conversant with NFPA codes and standards.

Should be able to coordinate with safety as well, fire section for functional test etc. Review new project proposals and recommend modifications /suggestions. Working knowledge with SAP.
