1 ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY AT RAJKOT THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS IS COMPLETELY FAIR AND TRANSPARENT. ANY TOUTING ACTIVITIES NOTICED SHOULD BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY 1. An Army Recruitment Rally for enrolment of eligible male candidates who are domicile of Jamnagar, Rajkot, Morbi, Surendranagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Devbhumi Dwarka, Junagadh, Kutch, Gir Somnath, Porbandar, Botad and Diu (UT) of Saurashtra & Kutch region of Gujarat State will be held at Saurashtra University Sports Complex,University Road, Rajkot from 26 Apr May The screening will be carried out for the following categories:- (b) (e) (f) (g) Soldier General duty (GD). Soldier Tradesman (10 TH Pass) (Tdn). Soldier Tradesman (8 th Pass) (Tdn) Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper (Clk/SKT). Soldier Technical (Technical Arms). Soldier Technical (Aviation and Ammunition Examiner). Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant (Army Medical Corps)). Soldier Technical Dresser (Remount Veterinary Corps). 2. Selection for Para and Para (SF). Sol GD candidates who secure 100% marks in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and more than % marks in written examination will be considered for selection. A separate screening board will select volunteer Sol GD candidates before dispatch. 3. Online Registration and Admit Cards. All eligible candidates desirous of participating in the rally should register online and apply on the website from 25 Feb 2018 to 10 Apr It is essential to mention Aadhar Card details in online application. Admit card can be downloaded by the candidates online after 12 Apr 2018.Admit card will be sent to candidates on their ID only. Candidates having valid admit card only will be allowed to participate in the rally. Candidates are advised to come fully prepared to the Rally for appearing in running test, physical fitness tests and physical measurement tests. All candidates to report to Saurashtra University Sports Complex, University Road, Rajkot rally site on designated days by 0200 hours (AM). 4. QR for Various Categories for Recruitment in Army. Category Age& Education Qualification Min HT Sol GD SSC Pass with 45% Marks in aggregate 168 to 21 and should have secured minimum 33% in each subject. For candidates having higher education qualifications (XII class or (Avn/Amn) (NA/Dresser) higher), no percentage will be applicable. 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subjects with minimum % marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum % marks in aggregate and should have secured minimum 40% marks in each subject OR 3 yrs diploma in Engineering (Mech, Elect, Electronics, Auto Mobiles/Computer Science from a recognized Polytechnic /Institute). Should have secured 40% in compulsory subjects (Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology) and % in aggregate in Cl XII. In case of a graduate having B.Sc Degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science) and English (Simple Pass), the stipulation of percentage in CL XII is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Cl XII also. Min WT Min Chest

The following PFT carrying 100 marks will be carried out the rally site:- 1.6 Km Run for all cats:- (i) Upto 05 Min 30 Sec Group I - 60 Marks (ii) Upto 05 Min 31 Sec to 45 Sec Group - II - 48 Marks (b) Pull Ups :- (i) Marks (ii) 9-33 Marks (iii) 8-27 Marks (iv) 7-21 Marks (v) 6-16 Marks Zigzag Balance. Should qualify and no marks are awarded. 9 Feet Ditch. Should qualify and no marks are awarded. 7. Dispensation in Physical Standards. The Candidates Must Bring the following Documents in Original and Also Two Sets Attested Photocopies with them. (b) SSC/HSC mark sheet and Board certificate/provisional board certificate. School Leaving Certificate. 8 th pass mark sheet duly countersigned by District Education Officer. Higher education certificate, if any. (e) Residential proof certificate from Sarpanch/municipal councilor (Latest, not older than two month).

3 (f) Character certificate from educational institution. (g) Caste certificates of SC/ST duly signed by Executive/Mamlatdar and OBC/General caste certificate duly signed by village Sarpanch/Municipal Cooperator. NCC certificate holders. (j) Sports certificate holder scoring 1 st or 2 nd position only(state/district Level) or Participation at International/National level. The Sports Certificate should not more than 2 years old on the day of screening. (k) ITI/other certificate of technical education, if any (i.e Computer/Typing Course). (l). Domicile certificate for all Gujarati and non Gujarati candidates (Only domicile certificate with photographs of candidate imprinted/pasted with stamp and signature of issuing authority will be accepted). (m) 20 copies of pass port size photographs (candidate not having 20 photographs will be rejected). (n) (o) Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Bank Pass book. Affidavit Rs 10/-.(Format enclosed). 9. Advisories. Candidates to be self contained for food and water on the day of documentation, the day of screening and the days of medical examination. No candidate will be allowed to go out of the rally ground during the documentation/screening/medical tests. (b) Candidates are advised to report to the rally site strictly as per programme given on the Admit Card to avoid overcrowding at rally site. rally. (e) Candidate are advised to view the film on recruitment procedure at a rally site on You Tube (Join Indian Army, be a winner of life) prior to reporting for rally. (f) Permanent Tattoos. Permanent Body Tattoos are only permitted on inner face i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of Palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent Body Tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be banned from further selection. Tribes with tattoos marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and tradition will be permitted on a case to case basis. 10. Cautions for all Candidates. Candidates are to be aware that on enrolment into the Indian Army, there will be certain implications and restrictions on the Fundamental Rights guaranteed to them by the Constitution of India as per provisions of the Army Act (19) and Army Rule (1954). The candidates will also have to furnish an undertaking to the effect during enrolment. (b) Army will not be responsible for any injury or death caused to candidate during recruitment rally. The candidate will participate at his own risk. Candidate will sign an affidavit to that effect. Recruitment is a free service and candidates are cautioned against falling victim to unscrupulous elements/middlemen/agents/touts. Paying money to agents/touts is a crime. Candidates are advised not to waste time and money on such activities. Only hard work and merit can lead to success. Biometric identification and hand writing analysis will be done at each stage. Imposters will be caught and handed over to Police. (e) Use of any unfair means will make the candidate liable to disqualification at any stages of recruitment whenever found. He will be handed over to Police. (f) Production of fake certificates and making of false declarations will lead to cancellation of candidature and criminal prosecution under the law. (g) The candidates are liable to be screened for use of physical performance enhancing drugs during recruitment rally. Candidates are liable to be disqualified for use of physical

4 performance enhancing drugs during recruitment rally. Army will not be responsible for any mishap during the run/other physical test due to consumption of drugs. Military service is a volunteer service. (j) Text given in English language will be treated as correct in case of mismatch of interpretation in other language. 11.
