12 -Look sharp and professional -Only wear the awards that are in your ORB (should match) -Should be kept UTD as much as possible -A photo that is not within 12 months of the board is a breach of military protocol (even though officially valid for 5 years)

13 Ensure Job Titles are clear with no medical abbreviations For military education, any course over 40 hours can be listed Should be accurate and up to date

15 Thru MyBoardFile you can view everything that the board will see about you (via HRC website) Not checking, I have reviewed MyBoardFile is another subtle breach of military courtesy (even if everything is accurate and up to date)

20 The Promotion Board also serves as Selective Continuation Board If you are passed over for promotion twice at CPT or MAJ (miss your PZ and AZ) you will be considered for SELCON No SELCON for being passed over at LTC Data SELCON rates are not published but generally allowed till ADSO expires
