1 LEADERSHIP POSITION DESCRIPTIONS February 2017

2 Summary of Troop Positions The table below provides a quick overview of the leadership positions available in Troop 128. Hyperlinks lead directly to specific position descriptions. While most leadership positions can be ued for rank advancement, the table shows that Assistant Patrol Leader does not satisfy the requirement. Further, Bugler will not satisfy the requirements for the Rank of Eagle. Mere appointment to a position will not satisfy the rank advancement requirements. Each position has attendance requirements, and a Scout's performance will be reviewed by another Scout or the Scoutmaster. For every position, however, the Scoutmaster makes the final decision at the end of the performance period regarding whether the Scout adequately performed the duties of the position.
