1 Northeast District Golden Spike Award Annually the Northeast District makes awards to those registered Scouters who continually provide initiative, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to the Scouting programs in which they serve. These Scouters hold the program together. They provide the spark to deliver on the promise of quality Scouting to packs, troops, crews, teams, and the District. It is recommended that the unit committee make the nomination or, at a minimum, be consulted. ONLY ONE NOMINATION PER UNIT WILL BE ACCEPTED! (An exception may be made for a husband and wife nominated for working together.)
