2 WFO to Company Al Headquarters Battalion, Headquarters USMC, and is billeted at Henderson. Hall barracks, Arlington, Virginia. LINDON has reportedly told BATIESTE in confidence that LINDON. has access to highly classified files in. connection with his USMC assignment. LINDON further told BATIESTE that in the course of reviewing these files he observed information on the assassination of President KENNEDY. According to LINDON it was documented in this file that LEE HARVEY OSWALD had nothing to do with the assassination. LINDON further stated the file also says that the assassination was a "conspiracy on the part of the government." Also, that the actual assassin was a former Secret Service agent; further, that JACK RUBY was killed by,the government with some type of injection. According to ARMAND REISER, he heard that LINDON gave this information to BATIESTE in confidence and that BATIESTE passed it on to ELIZABETH BESSINGER in confidence. SA FELTAULT advised that he learned no further specific details from ARMAND REISER re this matter. He did determine that REISER is not aware of the actual military assignment of THOMAS L. LINDON. SA FELTAULT said that this matter was apparlently worrying REISER considerably. He first called FELTAULT re the information on 8/25/67 and then appeared personally at the Security Office, USD5, in response to the invitation of FELTAULT. REISER terminated his.employment with USDS 8/25/67. During_ the. evening. of that- date-her-p-lanned- to-catch a plane to L.: return to college, North Central College, Neperville, Illinois. _. SA FELTAULT is unaware of REISER's home address ,:ftts C./At _ !Arad SA FELTAULT said he reported this information to ra SA. FERRICK, Intelligence Division, U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Washington, D. C.,.during the evening of 8/25/67. SA FERRICK

SA FERRICK advised SA FELTAULT that the telephone number furnished by ARMAND REISER as the residence telephone of Corporal LINDON, JA ,' as been determined to be the telephone number of one J SLEY 826 S. Scott Street, Arlington, Virginia. SA FELTAULT said he was reporting this information to the FBI at the suggestion of Secret Service. He said his office has made no decision re dissemination of this infor«mation to USMC, but he will insure that USDS or USSS makes this dissemination to USMC. 5 Airtel to Richmond RE: ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY on 8/29/67, Bureau liaison with U.S. Secret Service determined U.S. Secret Service will take no action regarding this matter pending Bureau inquiries. NOTE: This matter is to receive expeditious attention. A Special Agent of the Security Office, U.S. Department of State, interviewed a summer employee of the Department of State who had obtained information third-hand that Corporal Thomas L. Lindon, U.S. Marine Corps had said that during the course of his duties, he had reviewed U.S. Marine Corps files and observed information concerning the assassination of President Kennedy. The files allegedly reflected that Lee Harvey Oswald had nothing to do with the assassination. Lindon further indicated that the files revealed the assassination was a "conspiracy on the part of the Government." Also the actual assassin was a former Secret Service Agent. Further, Jack Ruby was killed by the Government with some type of injection.
