The increasing threat of global warming caused by mainly Greenhouse Gas emission has led an increasing number of national and international businesses to achieve carbon neutrality as part of their sustainability strategy. SLCF helps organizations to understand its carbon and environmental footprint, and how it can create a better business by reducing the footprint. OUR WAY TO CERTIFY YOUR EMISSIONS Sri Lanka Climate Fund provides carbon footprint certification / GHG inventory verification services ranging from organization to product footprints in line with GHG Protocol, ISO & 2, ISO and PAS 2050 carbon footprint standards. 3 CERTIFYING THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF YOUR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OR PRODUCT WILL HELP YOU TO, Understand the impact that your product/business has on the climate. SRI LANKA CARBON CREDITING SCHEME (SLCCS) SLCCS is a national offset scheme, which supports local clean projects to benefit from climate finance for the emission reduction or removal of Greenhouse gases (GHG). Purpose of this scheme is to enhance the credibility, transparency and quality of emission reductions efforts within Sri Lanka. Once these projects meets SLCCS eligibility criteria, the projects will be registered at SLCCS systems and eligible to get SCERs (Sri Lankan Certified Emission Reductions) issued. Carbon Trading 3
