Ueoka, a former judge and prosecutor for the County of Maui, the Maui County Bar Association awards scholarships to current or soonto-be law students. The MCBA accepts applications each year for scholarships to potentially be awarded to students with significant ties to Maui County; who are planning to attend, or are currently attending law school, and demonstrate a compelling financial need. 5 CIA Graduate Program Scholarship 9/15/17 $18, Intern with the CIA for 60 to 90 days in DC! Eligibility: -Must have U.S. citizenship -18 years of age -Minimum 3.0 college GPA or higher -Full-time student taking at least 9 credits per semester -Financial need as demonstrated by the gross annual household income ceiling up to $70,000 for a family of four or less, and $80,000 for a family of five or more for applicants that have been listed as dependent (full-time student for at least five months of the year) for the previous tax year -If the applicant has not been listed as a dependent for the previous tax year, the gross annual household income ceiling is $35,000 or less -After completing a 60 to 90-day work tour student should still have at least one year remaining of full-time classes prior to graduation -Meet the same employment standards as permanent employees, successfully completing both security and medical processing

7 The Siemens Competition 6 Available 9/19/17 $100, The Siemens Competition is open to high school students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Students must be in good standing, enrolled in and attending one of the following: high school (grades 9-12), a DoDEA school, a foreign school, or homeschool. Team projects may have two or three members and do not need to include a senior (grade 12). Projects must be within the fields of mathematics, engineering, biological and physical sciences and follow all project guidelines.
