1 Scholarship Graydon Nicholas Indigenous Scholarship in Engineering Available to New Brunswick residents of indigenous ancestry who have been accepted into an engineering program at either the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton or Saint John) or Université de Moncton. The scholarship may be used to help offset tuition, textbooks, transportation and/or living expenses. Field of Study Value Frequency Duration Criteria Engineering - Full time or part time for the equivalent of one academic term. $3000 (renewable for up to five years based on academic performance). Offered yearly Up to five years - New Brunswick resident of First Nations (Status or Non-Status) - accepted into an engineering program at University of New Brunswick (Fredericton or Saint John) or Université de Moncton. - require financial assistance to pursue education If you are already receiving partial funding from other sources, you may still apply to cover additional educational and living expenses. No Please note: Proof of ancestry may be required. An indigenous person is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation. North American Indians or members of a First Nation include "Status," "Treaty" or "Registered" Indians, as well as "Non-Status" and "Non-Registered" Indians. II. 3 III. REFERENCE One reference is required (ex. teacher, guidance counselor, engineer or geoscientist, community/church/business leader, member of the military, medical professional, etc.).
